Panera Bread

Went for lunch, ordered chicken tortellini with bread and a lemonade also added a cranberry orange muffin for $.99. Total cost of the meal was $13.47. First order some of the tortellini was very hard. A girl could not be pushed into it. Probably a quarte to a third of the portion was this was. I took it back and they made a fresh one. The second one was good and the muffin was delicious. They were out of my first 3 options for baked goods but the muffin worked out just fine. Everyone was helpful and pleasent, the place was not as clean as it usually is but not dirty either. Just some trash on the floor and some spills in the drink station. Not bad but it is normally very clean inside. Overall happy with the experience. I hold them to a higher standard than fast food places because of the prices they charge and I will be back again.

Just had lunch at Panera. Ordered Thai chicken salad and corn chowder. There was NOT one piece of. chicken in the salad. I took it back and thr kitchen gave me some chicken to put on top. Not even an apology--just a blank stare. The corn chowder was a watered-down, tasteless mess. Additionally, it was cold! I go to Panera occasionally because it is quick and not loaded with fat. If often misses the mark. This time it really missed it, but hey, it's "clean food".

I live in Havelock, so when I'm in New Bern I would love to stop in and eat with my daughter. Not lately though, last 2 times they didn't have my favorite bread bowl, fairly early on in the evening to be "running out"(around 2pm). Finally got a day with them available and I ordered extra baguettes with my meal and to my dismay I get home to find my order incomplete, and yes this is a fairly small issue but not when it happens consistently! When I called to let the manager know, he said(quite rudely) that the only option I had was to drive another 20 miles back to pick them up!! I find this insane! What person in there right mind considers this good customer sevice. WOW!

Food was very good, delivered in a timely manner even though it is a bit pricey.

First time visitor to this location. Worst service ever experience in a Panera. The counter person was preoccupied talking with another employee and the drive up person had to acknowledge us. Then the counter person had us walk over to her at the register before getting the pecan roll we were there to purchase. There was no appreciation for us being there, it was as if she didn't want to be there. Not a customer friendly restaurant.
