Probably avoid this location. Some sketchy employees, annoying parking lot, mediocre food. Better than the one in Forest Lake, not as good as the one on Larpenteur and Lexington. Better than Pizza Hut, little Caesars, and Carbone's by a long shot still.
We get pizza from this Papa John's all the time. It is always ready when we order it for pickup. When I get it home it is always done correctly. We absolutely love the staff here they are the best.
I recently bought the 2022 North St. Paul Highschool Football coupon/card which has listed on there word for word "FREE Lg. or XL Pizza with Purchase of the same. Not val. w/other offers. Carry Out Only. Maplewood Location" -- I ordered 2 Large stuffed crust pizzas via phone and told the operator 3x that I had the coupon card. When I showed up to pay they did not honor the bogo card and I was required to pay full price.
Awesome service/Delivery time at this location! Everyone that delivers is friendly and attentive. They must be double checking the order before they leave because they never miss the extra sauce’s,parm packets, special seasoning packets etc that I add to my orders!!! Which we all know it’s the small things that count. Love this Maplewood Minnesota location, thanks for providing great service and food!
The pizza is good but the price is overwhelming when ordered through Doordash...it's SUPPOSED to cost 1399 as advertised on TV for stuffed crust cost 22 through door dash when I realized this I was shocked I was charged 8 dollars more!! Unreal
This is the worst Papa John's Pizza I have ever ordered from. Their management is an absolute joke. They "forget" to make the pizzas. Blame someone else when you call to complain.. it took over two hours last time to get a pizza because they forgot to tell the driver to deliver it... ???? We got a free pizza for their screw up so thought we'd give them another shot. Placed the order .. estimate of 15-25 minutes for pick up... Going on 45 minutes waiting in the store for the pizza. I'm guessing the good reviews for this location are from the workers.. ha! Please visit any other papa John's Pizza in the area.. Unless this one gets new management I doubt they'll improve..
This location used to be better. In the last year or so, they've been getting orders wrong, they've been very late when delivering and sometimes they don't even start cooking our pizza until after I arrive to pick it up. Tonight, they got every single topping wrong. We ordered 3 cheese blend, sausage, bacon and green olives. We GOT regular cheese, pepperoni, mushrooms, onions and green peppers. Maybe it's my fault for not carefully inspecting the pizza every single time, because it's often wrong. At least the pizza is warm 80% of the time.
Worst Papa Johns I've ever been to. First time I ordered for delivery it took over two hours. Once I got it, it was someone else's order. Got a credit for the mistake. Weeks later I walked in, placed an order and walked out thinking all was well. Pizza had completely wrong toppings on it. I ordered Hawaiian. Why was BBQ sauce, onions and bacon bits on it? Do they even know pizza?!
We were told it would take 65-75 minutes for delivery. I even ordered 30mins before I got home from work thinking if it takes a while, it shouldn't be too much past the time I get home. It has been 2 hours and still no pizza. I called and was told it's just coming out of the oven! After 2 hours of waiting! I will not be ordering from this place again.
We’ve ordered Papa John’s from many locations over the years, but this is the worat location yet. Many of our orders take an hour and a half for delivery, and the pizza is barely warm when it arrives. Our home is not difficult to find, so I can’t imagine that contributes to the issue. I think we’ll stick with Domino’s or Red Savoy for our future pizza needs.
