Staying in the Denver area tonight and had to order some late night pizza and Pappa John's was on point! I actually called the wrong store and they gracefully helped me find the one that delivers to my hotel. Called the right place, guy was friendly and courteous on the phone, decided to try one of the new pepperoni stuffed crusts. Best part of the story, the driver showed up on time, pizza was hot and fresh tasted amazing!, Brought us paper plates and stuff other chains don't do that anymore and most amazingly for the first time in 20 years I had a pizza delivered to my room, not the lobby, without even asking! Hats off to the whole crew, Best Papa John's I've had since the first time I tasted it over 20 years ago!!
Ordered the pizza online and delivery said about 35 to 45 minutes. I called after 1 hour and Dakota mentioned that the driver was at my residence which was an error he then clarified that he was three minutes away. 3 minutes turned into 18 and the pizza showed up about an hour and a half after originally ordered It was soggy, cold and pretty tasteless and to top it off the bottom pizza was crushed because of the three other pizzas and jalapeno poppers that were stacked on top of it and the little tiny bag. Very disappointing experience and disappointed with the customer service when call to inquire
Order at 6:11, order summary said delivery time of 30 minutes. After 45 minutes it said it would arrive in 9-19 minutes. 2 hours later, still no pizza. Called the store and no one would answer. Do not order from this store if you want to actually receive you pizza.
I ordered from this Papa John's because it always seem to be good and our order is always correct. I went to pick it up and the gentleman thought that I was a driver from one of the food services but when I said no I'm just a mother picking up the food that my daughter ordered and paid for he laughed. Thanks for the laugh and the great customer service.
I hardly ever order carry out pizza but was in this area and hungry. When I walked in the music was so loud and obnoxious. The guy attempting to take my order couldn't hear what I was saying. He didn't offer to turn it down. I went outside to open the app to find and show him I wanted to order a large pizza with everything on it. I then went nearby to run a quick errand. I was disappointed that the toppings on a $20 pizza didn't extend closer to the edge of the pie. I ate it because I was starving. I called and talked to the store manager Marianne to tell her about the loud music and how hard it was to place my order. She said the music wasn't that loud. She also said that they purposely leave 2 inches bare around the edge of the pie so you can hold it. I've never seen that done before but I haven't ordered one in a long time. She told me to look on the website instead of the app for better deals. I didn't find that to be the case at all. I know restaurants are trying to recover from the pandemic but I think this Papa John's is the pit's and will go to another location next time. I have a feeling that they're all just as bad though.
I was concerned that there is only one person preparing the food, but he was exceptional! My wait was not very long and the pizza was pretty good.
I would have to say papa John's is probably the best pizza in it's fast food pizza category. I have been going to this location for a long time and have always been treated courteously. Most of the time the pizza and other items I've purchased have been exactly what I would expect or better. I do not do delivery as I have always felt that Pizza is absolutely its best when it's as fresh and hot as possible but I have been this way with all food that I order for a long time. So I don't really have experience with their delivery. I think they are a good value for the money. I don't understand the amount of low reviews that I see and this has not been my experience. I would give them a try and judge for yourself.
I spent $40 on pizza today. The primary reason I went to Papa John's is that I wanted to try their New York style pizza. It literally was their regular pizza with the same sized crust. I could have spent $8.99 on the pizza they gave me versus the $14.99 I spent on the NY style. I also went to pick it up. The other pizza was alright, I expected to pay the price I did for the second one. This is the second time that this location has just given me what they felt like and not what I ordered. I will not be back.
I love Papa John's, but man was this some gross pizza. I've had Pappa John's all over the country this one by far had some terrible pie.
Placed an order tonight and door dash never picked up the order but delivered food from someone else. I called the store and spoke to the manager Hunter, they remade my pizza for free and sent out the order then noticed the pizza had not even been picked up and called me back and gave me both pizzas! Customer service was amazing and I am satisfied. Thank you Hunter!
