Amazing fish options and a nice surprise for great food in a food court. Great food and wonderful, friendly staff. Settled on the fish and chips, $18.99. Lightly breaded huge piece of fish and great steak like fries. Had leftovers for breakfast the next day and it was just as good. Shout-out to Willie for being so friendly and willing to answer questions. Looking forward to returning.
This place is NOT by any means budget friendly, however, it is to be expected when you visit the MGM! I paid $34 for one plate. I ordered the Crab Cake plate and the waiter asked if I’d like to upgrade the fries to the crab fries my initial thought, so I said of course. We waited about 5 mins for our food and we ate it there. EVERYTHING was delicious! The sauce on the crab fries was the runner star of the plate standing next to the amazingly tasting crab ball! I’d definitely eat there again, as long as I’m winning at the black jack table! Side note, the fries were hot and the sauce was warm but, the crab meat was definitely cold, that kinda threw me off but it was still good!
This is the McDonald's of crabcakes! There is 2-3 times more filler than actual crab meat. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The one star is for the friendly and courteous customer service.
Sadden by the fact that it's really just crab cakes and no variants to it. Prices are somewhat reasonableFood: 3/5
I suppose my love is for authentic Maryland crabcakes which are readily available near the Bay Bridge, Baltimore, ans Annapolis. This crabcake was bland. Wasn't impressed, I can at least say I visited. The young lady at the cash register was a joy!Food: 2/5
This place doesn't seem like it would have the best crabcakes a native Marylander could get, but it's surprisingly true. The chunks of jumbo lump crab are mysteriously held together with less filler or binder than seems possible. Taste is excellent, price is reasonable 20 for sandwich on a wonderful soft brioche bun, not too heavily seasoned old bay fries, sauce, tomato/lettuce and a little delicious coleslaw and they have several good beers to choose from. Don't know if I'll ever try the other food options in the casino now, after having this it is something I crave to repeat! Tonight was my second time and the food was excellent again. After having crabcakes in many current and former Maryland restaurants, from shacks to fine dining, over almost four decades- This place has the best I've tasted and at one of the lowest prices. Definitely worth trying, don't be put off by its humble food court location! If there is a line, just know it's worth waiting for.
One of my favorite crab cake spots without all the fuss. I’m never disappointed when I stop by here on the way to my home in Accokeek Md. as you can see all crab cake, this is the 8oz version.
...great crabcakes at least by MGM fare standards however, they just started to add cornmeal to the fried oyster batter and it turned from being the best thing on their menu and the reason I ate there, to the worst thing on the menu and what keeps me from going back.Food: 3/5
I came and saw 3 people working here. Two people working the front and the cook in the back. This has been going on for some time but clearly everyone needs a job. Ms. Marva had a super pleasant smile and demeanor that kept ppl standing in line. She should be getting paid $30/hour. I don’t know how these women did it with grace, but mgm or papas crab cake owners should be ashamed of themselves for not stepping u to the plate on their establishment.
Excellent customer first of all....The food was hot and tasty, very good. I wanted more or larger portions for money. That why 4 stars. The restaurants in Baltimore do serve large portions, but for the money it makes it worth it. I wish MGM National Harbor had large portions, too. Other than that I will revisit MGM National Harbor Pappa's as well as recommend this spot. Their team is the bomb!
