This place has been a favorite of my mom's for a few years now and she always finds great, high quality clothes to wear to work from here. I went with her for the first time today since I was in town and was so impressed with all of their inventory. They have so many unique items, both vintage and new, for great prices considering the quality. The two women working there were super friendly as well. Highly recommend!!
I LOVE PARADISE GREEN CONSIGNMENT!, and this is why. First I love consignment shops and vintage wear. So when I walked into this beautiful place I was in my happy place. What made this experience so rejuvenating was the owner Michele and her staff. I walked around for over a hour and I talked with Michele like she was a friend who i knew for a long time. I felt so WELCOMED! My experience was extraordinary, I was so welcomed. There was great professionalism, prices and company.
Today, I visited Paradise Green Consignment store located in Stratford, CT. All I have to say is wow!!!. I met the owner, her name is Michele, an excellent human being, she was very genuine and welcoming. She showed me around the store and even alert me of sales. She took her time to explain the sales tickets and the expiration dates. I feel that the community should visit her store and support her for several reasons, one, her merchandise are great quality, second the customer service is 100% great and last because she helps the community and those families in need that are under a budget. I have consigned items with this store and the people couldn’t have been nicer or more fair. I made a decent amount of money to spend in the shop because I like to rotate my wardrobe. I have shopped there many times and always find the perfect pair of jeans or top to wear with what I have. Highly recommend.
I took my clothes down to the store to consign there. The women had me stand there for 30 minutes while she went through my items. She took what she wanted and gave me back the rest. The next day someone from the shop calls me to tell me that the leather boots I brought in had a small rip inside and they were going to donate them. not so, not only were they examined the day before I also only wore them once!. The following day I received another call about another item and I told the girl on the phone that I felt they were scamming me and that my items were already examined. She back-peddled and said never mind!! After my consignment time was up, I went down to pickup the remaining clothes and one of the items that wasn't listed as sold was missing! I feel they are very dishonest and help themselves to whatever they want without paying for it. I would not recommend this consignment shop for selling your clothes.
I absolutely love this place!! It's a great addition to the Green area in Stratford! The owner Michele is such a knowledgeable and down to earth person! She was so easy to work with! The employees are also super polite and the store is always clean but packed with new merchandise constantly! I've consigned plenty of items that would've been just sitting in my closet! If your items didn't sell it's probably because they didn't appeal to the shoppers. If the items don't sell within a certain period, the price continuously drops... If you're looking for designer clothing for less, this is the place to go!! The staff only accepts clothing that's in the current season which is great! I've updated my fall wardrobe at a great deal! Oh not to mention I stopped by over weekend to do a little shopping and to purchase a few things at the local bakery and I noticed they were taking donations for the Hurricane disaster victims!! Again, what a great addition to the community! Welcome Paradise Green Consignment!
Absolutely one of my favorite places to shop in connecticut! My experience shopping there has always been pleasant and peaceful. They have a variety of modern designer merchandise at an affordable discounted price so be ready to shop till you drop! The owners and co workers are welcoming, helpful and accommodating. The store is organized neatly with each genre of clothing, shoes, bags, and accessories in its own lane, for each season! which makes shuffling through any merchandise so much more easier! Another bonus for me is their mirrored changing room which has helped me make decisions on what i should purchase. Will be shopping there again soon! Love it!!
I have had such a great experience with this consignment shop. My family has both consigned with the shop and also been customers for about a year now. As a consignor, the owner and her team are always respectful but very selective with the quality of the merchandise they accept. They ensure that both the customer and the owner of the merchandise get the best balance of value. We have been very happy with our experience selling. As customers I’ve found there’s always something unique in the store, it’s kept clean and merchandise is fresh. I think the new team along with the owner have made a great place in Stratford! We wish them all the best.
Not a welcoming environment. I came in to browse, said hello twice to them and was not well received. My mother walked in after me and was greeted appropriately. We left in under a couple minutes. Quality of clothes are ok and the store is clean, but the customer service leaves much to be desired. I’d recommend thrifting at larger stores when they open, or buying solely online through many available outlets.
