Paradox Comics & Cards

A lovely store, small but with a lot of stock. I did well with back issues and they have 50p and £1 comics as well as decent recents and of course all the current stock you'd want. Andy is knowledgeable and friendly and happy to discuss prices as I took a title off the wall. I thouroghly enjoyed my visit and left with an eclectic bag of comics and posters.

Its always a pleasure to browse, chat and buy when in here. Nice selection of tshirts, mugs statues and action figures etc. All the comics and graphic novels new and back issues you could want.

Popped in randomly when visiting in-laws and family. Impulse purchase of 6 volumes of 'locke and Key' - fellow behind counter gave me good discount for bulk. And he was very chatty and articulate about comics, and made me occasional comics/graphic novels reader feel comfortable. I'm just about to email him for some help tracing some items. Cool store - ramshackle in the best way, I thought.

Visited on a very rainy August Bank Holiday. What a great shop! Delighted to find boxes of 50p comics, not full of dross but some really good back issues. Filled up some major gaps in my Alpha Flight and West Coast Avengers collection. Some good wall stock, loads of good-priced, carefully graded stock too. I had a great chat with the owner sorry, I didn't get your name! so, all in all, a total pleasure.

Great shop with fab T shirts . A bit different styles from Pop legends to your favourite movie stars. Could do with extra merchandise displayed around & on walls. ie: posters, key rings, etc & maybe some younger idol merchandise to bring in younger people Family run business so deserve a good chance.

Popped in today after recommendation from owner of Frog Bros in Boscombe another lovely comic store Shop is crazy busy with boxes of comics due to lockdown issues, but the guy could put his hand to virtually any title I requested.....even found me a couple of “rocking horse s**t” issues. I’ll be back, bringing the rest of the geek crew with me!

I absolutely love this comic shop. I go there every other weekend and the man in there is always very kind and gets what you need in no time at all. Peoples say it's chaotic with boxes but I think it stimulates you more to go in because you never no what treasures there are in them. All the comics I've had from Paradox are in brilliant condition. It's like my second home. If the man in Paradox is reading this, thank you for all my awesome comics and never leave or shutdown because I love that shop with all my heart. If I could add more stars to this rating I would add as many more as I could. I can't recommend this shop more.
