Park Street School

Our Daughter has been going to Park Street starting with their toddler program and we are blown away not only by how much she is learning but also with her emotional development. Our number one goal is to raise kind, independent, and strong children with an emotional grounding who are confident in themselves as we could not have picked a better partner than PSS. We are thrilled to have found a school we love and we can continue to live in the city. They also have a phenomenal indoor gym so the kids get to enjoy active play every day!

Park Street School has been such a wonderful place not only for our kids but also for us as family. The combination of faith, excellent academics, and diversity of cultures really aligned with our family’s values. We love that the school walks alongside us to give our kids a safe space to learn and thrive. I cannot speak highly enough of the care and support the teachers and staff provide for each and every one of the students. We love Park Street School!

Our top priorities for choosing a preschool and now having chosen the elementary school were education, community, diversity, communication and the trust we would have in the school. We desired for our daughter to be cared for by other loving adults, learn to be a kind human, and integrate into the larger community of Boston. There are so many ways in which PSS has exemplified these qualities. In a simplistic; however meaningful way- Park Street School has our daughters best interests in mind- creating an environment for her to thrive emotionally and academically. We truly feel our daughter is seen and heard. She is not a number at PSS. Her individual interests, learning style, and personality are considered on a daily basis. We chose PSS as the best fit for our daughter. What surprised us along the way is that we too, have also found a great fit of friendships ourselves! While we have the utmost confidence in our daughter, her exponential growth, confidence, and maturity, partnered with PSS, has far surpassed our expectations!

We love Park Street School! It has been a wonderful place for all three of our kids to grow and thrive, both academically and personally. Rarely will you meet teachers who are so deeply invested in the development of their students.

Our son has been at Park Street School since he was a toddler. Now a proud first grader at the Elementary School, we cannot say enough good things about PSS and our and his experience there. The educators and staff are some of the most caring and dedicated professionals you will find. We love the school community. The academic curriculum and instruction are outstanding. Access to faculty and communication throughout the year is impressive. Above all, I truly feel that PSS partners with you to help develop the whole child, nurture their development, support the child and family as needed, and foster a love for learning and care for others that is palpable. I’ve always noticed how kind children at PSS are and it’s easy to see why when you observe the school setting, community, and shared values. There are lots of ways to get involved and it’s been a joy to have our son here at PSS and we look forward to many more happy and fulfilling years!

Our son has been attending Park Street since the age of 2. This year he graduates to the Elementary School and is very excited to be transitioning with his whole class to the Big School. You know what it’s like as you tour the many educational options in the City, trying to find the right environment for your unique student. We were fast losing hope until we visited Park Street. From that initial open house the school has community & family at it's heart. Indeed, as we have no family in the country, a sense of belonging for us was important. And they nailed it, even during COVID the school prioritized a sense of well being and inclusion. It promotes a strong moral compass which every kid deserves. Make no mistake - this is a school and not a day care - it follows a recommended curriculum and embraces a teaching methodology that makes learning fun whilst recognizing each child’s strengths and development needs. The teachers are dedicated and compassionate and it’s obvious they are fully invested in each and every pupil and in the school as a whole. Our son has made many friends, is learning more than we could have imagined and as parents, we are honored to be part of the PSS family with other likeminded parents providing support to one another.

Before I was a board member, I was a school parent, and before that I was a interested observer of the school. With the insight of experience I can simply say that there is no school where your child will be more loved. Put a content-rich curriculum and encouraging community around that love and it's something really special.
