We tried the vegan deep dish pizza whole wheat with the standard - garlic, red onion, and spinach for delivery. It came hot. It was really delicious. I thought the crust would be thicker than it was, but I could only finish one piece as it was. Great to have a vegan option.
AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COST. Been to this location multiple times over the years whenever we get the chance to come to Denver, and always order a deep dish pizza. They messed up the crust of our deep dish and accused us of ordering a pan pizza instead of deep dish. Elizabeth Manager came and refused to correct their mistake by because we bite into it. Yea, how to tell a pizza crust is wrong without eating? She straight up accused us of dine and dash right after we complained. Over a 37 bucks pizza??! What a joke. Zero customer experience, extremely mad and sad a place we all loved is turning into this.
Love their gluten free pizza! Also their cannoli! A patio that is comfortable and dog friendly! We had 8 of us in the party an no problem for large seating!
Leaving a review in hopes I can get some answers... I placed a takeout order here 2 days ago as it said it was open, when I arrived to pick up my pizza the shop was closed and appears to have been closed for days. I stopped by yesterday and today and no one is there. I even tried calling both locations but neither one is picking up. I would like a refund for my order since I obviously never received my pizza. Disappointed but I hope this can be resolved soon.
The food is really good when you can get it and they make it right. Last Sunday i decided to place a delivery order after a long day of traveling. They call me back after 15 minutes saying theyre out of pepperoni, which is fine. Then they call me back another 20 minutes later and tell me that im outside their delivery zone, even tho theyve delivered 5+ pizzas to me over the last year. So they offer to give me a refund or to come pick i up. Im hungry so decide to do carry out. I picked up the food and the pizza was entirely wrong when I got home and was almost unedible. They seemed like a mess when I was picking it up from the store. Anyways they said I'd have to speak with a manager about a refund. It took me calling on 3 different days to get a hold of one even tho they kept taking down my information. They said the best they'd do is offer me 20% off for the next time when I order one of their 40 dollar pizzas. Good luck trying to get through to them on the phone on a Sunday by the way. Last month I was disconnected when putting in my order, so I called back right away, no one answered. I had to call 6 times to get someone to pick up and finish taking my order. We were at the part were they were asking for my card I'm serious when I say that it's consistently the worst customer service experience ever. And they act like they're swamped but I go in and there's literally 4 people eating at the whole restaurant. It's a shame cuz I love their food but it's not worth the price or hassle to eat there anymore.
Seriously delicious deep dish pizza pie. Paxti's is not fooling around. "Cheese is good, crust is good, sauce is good, this is 5/5 stars," said the deep dish craving picky teen. We built our own. It started with the perfect foundation: an evenly golden crust, with firm flaky edges--nothing scorched, no gloopy underdone spots--crisp exterior surfaces, and soft interior. The crust fused seamlessly with the layer of good quality, melted cheese and a smattering of spinach. The final layer was generously ladled red sauce across the top. That red stuff was well-balanced without overbearing flavors, and neither too sweet nor salty. We opted to have the pie double-cut to make it easier to flop one piece across another, sandwich style. The super fresh insalata with sherry vinaigrette was our ideal accompaniment. Ordered directly from Paxti's website and picked it up. Promised in 45, ready in 35. The *only* drawback here is for take-out if one doesn't live near enough to walk over. You need either find a neighborhood parallel parking spot, or get a partner to hop out of the car to retrieve the order while you drive 'round a few blocks to kill time.
Easily up there with the top vegan pizzas I have ever had. Service was friendly and fast, options were plentiful and unique! I ordered roasted tomato, banana peppers, and roasted mushrooms on their thin crust with Daiya and it was divine. No up charges for Gluten Free either! My husband loved his meat filled dairy pie too ;
Patxi's deep dish is always worth the wait. They offer a half baked pick up where they cook it halfway then you take it home and finish the job. I love the half baked option because it allows a fresh hot pie in my oven. They are filling pies. Seriously give it a try.
Food was delicious and service was great! Must try: chicago deep dish pizza, artichoke dip and bees sting cocktail!
I drove an hour and a half to try this location out. I loved how their bar also opened up to the patio. Perfect for a summer day and they do offer happy hour. I specifically came for their vegan deep dish pizza. Been living in CO for years and love finding new places that offer non dairy/ vegan options. I am from Chicago so I didn't mind the extra toppings they use. It came with spinach, onions and the garlic kind of rested on the top. Normally its a bit more minced. My biggest recommendation for the PERFECT vegan pizza would be to experiment with some more plant base cheeses. Daiya is not a go to for most of us. There's Miyoko's, Follow Your Heart, Violife, Chao and many more that will melt and take this pizza to another level! Overall I had a good experience here. My bartender was super nice and attentive as well!
