Bears only the flaws of any public high school. Many of the teachers, however, are very talented and devoted educators. The concert and marching bands are good/competitive and a fun experience. Oh, and Mr.Reed (Computer Science) is probably the best teacher ever, and his classes are a lot of fun (and probably the best computer science classes in the state's public schools)

Special thanks to Turner (English and Science), Howell, Reed, Morgan, and Zimmerman. You all went above and beyond, and pushed me further into subjects that I love. And of course, I'm not the only one — we all thank you guys so much for what you do!

Went to PLD and I loved it! One of the nicest H.S buildings in the state. Teachers & Staff was Amazing! Alot of them actually cares about the students! Most students go on to college after leaving Dunbar including myself! I also enjoyed my time playing extra curricular sports activities. I think highly of the tradition this school has not only in sports but mainly in academics! I would not trade my experience at PLD for nothing! Go bulldogs!
