Paul Public Charter School

This is the worst possible school that any parent should have their child attend. There are fights daily in the school. Students bully each almost everyday. The police are called to the school almost everyday. There is a high turnover rate amongst the staff and the former principal left. They need to increase the enrollment so they are allowing non DC residents to attend the school to prevent the school from being closed down. I've met the former Ceo, Principal and the current Principal and the director they all have no idea how to run the school. This school needs to loose their charter because there so many issues in the school that it's impossible for kids to receive a quality education. Please do not enroll or reenroll your kids into this school. I made that mistake and I can tell you that I have lived to regret it.

This is my daughter's senior year and everything concerning graduation is a mess! They wouldn't let us pick out our seniors year book pictures! There is no senior trip! They're having a senior dinner but only 1 parent can come! They are unreasonable with the community service, which is useless anyways! Don't even try to call to get someone on the phone! Staff leaving in the middle of graduation planning! I have NEVER seen anything like this! But they did make sure the kids can get discounted hotel rooms after the prom??!! No clue what that's about but my kid staying in a hotel unsupervised is not something I care about. I am sooo disappointed! This is suppose to be fun times! This school needs a lot of work! Messing up these kids senior year! Still waiting for answers from the last senior meeting which was Tuesday before last

I have a lot of negative things to say about Paul. But, to summarize it a little I just graduated from here (Paul) this past June and we had to pay our Senior Dues which was $300 supposedly for - cap & gown, class T-shirt, class pictures, & the yearbook? We were notified that we would get our yearbooks back in July. It is almost September and we still haven't gotten them. Will we ever get them? who knows, we haven't been notified about ANYTHING.

Paul is a good school. Ive been there for about three years and have had alot of fun. Ive meet new people each year and looking forward to the new high school.
