I've been going to this groomer for about 15 years. Trudy & Debbie treated my old & sick shepard with kindness & efficiency. I got a poodle mix shortly after she passed. A few years later, I adopted a dog that they were helping to find a home for. Still to this day my dogs who are almost 12 & 13 years old go there. I know I can always depend on them & when they say 2 hours for pick up, the dogs are always ready when you arrive.They always make sure my shots are up to date and I understand that it is my responsibility to remember. If I'm not sure, I can always ask them to check for me. Love this groomer!

Been using Trudy and Debbie for the past 15 years with the dogs I've owned. I moved to Staten Island 12 years ago and still make the trip to Brooklyn as there professionalism can't be beat . Wouldn't consider using anyone else even though it's a bit of a hike for me to get to Brooklyn from Staten Island. Most if all my dogs love the way they are treated.

this place is AMAZING! i only have two days off from work each week, so i can only bring my dogs to be groomed on those days. i called on a tuesday afternoon and got an appointment for the very next morning and, not only, were the ladies who work here SUPER friendly and GREAT with my dogs, they were quick and efficient! i got a call less than 2 hours after dropping them off that they were ready for pick up. their timeliness was incredible!! also, i have a female Chorkie who i told the groomer to cut short for the summer, but to have some fun with.. and fun she had! she gave my baby girl a pink mohawk, and it could not be any CUTER! I brought my puppy to the Paws R Us on 83rd street and 13th avenue and they are very nice and professional. Although I only took my puppy there twice, I am definitely bringing her there from now on. On the inside it looks really adorable and the first time walking in I felt comfortable leaving my puppy there. Just like most grooming places they charge about $45 but it is worth it.

After one of my dogs started having anxiety at another groomer, we switched to paws r us. Both of my dogs are happy to go get groomed now. They do a beautiful job!

Looked for a new groomer since my usual paws and claws closed - tried this place out a couple of times since it’s close to my house. Both times I picked up My dog he was wet not fully dried . The second time I noticed he still smelled a little and noticed they forgot to wash and groom the folds of his neck. I called to let them know and there response was oh your dog prob has an infection. I told them never had an issue w the other groomer and that it came out w shampoo when I re washed him. I also asked so if that’s what you thought why didn’t you discuss it with me when I picked him up . She hung up the phone on me . Go else where they only want to collect your money!

First time bringing my dog in for grooming. I am very impressed on the job they have done. My dog came out looking like a show dog. Very friendly and professional. I will definitely be going back. Thanks for a job well done.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! I've been coming to Paws R Us since 1993 with my cocker spaniel Alliee. I now have a Havanese he is my boy Jesse. Trudy and Debbie love their furry friends as if they are their own. I can't say enough about how wonderful this grooming salon is. They go out of their way to accommodate their two legged clients too!

Rude person on the phone. Even if you're full until next week, don't say it in such a condescending tone. My score is just for initial impressions. I don't see how any continued interaction would be any different. I called in the morning not during rush hour so no excuse to be so rude. There are so many groomers out there, I wouldn't go to this one. How could they treat your pet well, when they can't even be nice over a telephone?
