We got married at the Payne Corley House earlier this October. The venue was perfect and our venue Specialist, Hope was so professional. I really enjoyed working with Hope. she was especially the best! She made the day sooo stress free and so easy for us! The venue was so cozy, traditional, beautiful, the food was soo good , and the dimmed lighting was timed perfect as well! Also the venue has a perfect patio around the house so our guests got to enjoy the perfect cool evening weather. After the wedding we simply walked to downtown and the hotel . I highly recommend anyone to have your wedding at this venue.
The cutest little wedding venue! My husband and I got married here two months ago and everything was perfect and just like I imagined!! Hope was able to help us lock in a date pretty quickly and even sent us a list of preferred vendors which made planning SO much easier. Because of her, we were also able to find our photographer, videographer, and DJ. Bryana, our wedding coordinator with Payne-Corley, was absolutely amazing as well!! She was top notch and made sure everything I wanted was there and done correctly. I can't thank Hope and Bryana enough for making my wedding so special!!
My sister just had her wedding here and we could not have asked for a better experience! The wedding coordinator, Hope, was so kind and made sure that we had everything we needed. The venue itself was beautiful as well as the grounds outside. We had plenty of time to get ready and a beautiful space in which to do so. All of the guests felt very accommodated and my sister and her husband had an amazing time. Would definitely recommend The Payne-Corley House!
Wonderful place to have a wedding! We had the best day ever and Hope was such a wonderful wedding coordinator. Great food, outdoor ceremony space and great area of town! The vintage feel contributed to the perfect aesthetic for our day!
Pricing for the venue was very competitive when compared to other local options. The food was exceptional and our friends and family are still talking about a few of the menu items. The wedding coordinator was patient and able to adjust to multiple scheduling conflicts. We were originally going to do the wedding outside but had to change the event to an inside ceremony due to rain. The transition was seemless for us but I realize it resulted in a lot of extra work for the venue ti facilitate. All in all, their wedding coordinator, the great food and the classic look of the venue created a great foundation for our wedding ceremony.
The Payne-Corley House was an absolutely beautiful and amazing venue to have our wedding! I loved the fact that you can rent the entire facilities for the whole day so that I could get ready with my Bridal Party in the morning and not have to travel anywhere. They provided us with lunch while we were getting ready and Hope made sure everything was taken care of throughout the day. She was very patient with me and answered all my questions very promptly while planning - and I had a ton of questions! We also had Abby's at the Cottage floral which was fabulous and Krista who I worked with there is super sweet. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better day! It went above and beyond my expectations! Thank you to everyone who made it so special for us! :
Went for a high tea for a friends birthday and it was the most amazing experience. Jane is the most amazing host and made sure everyone felt seen and made sure everyone’s dietary restrictions were accommodated
We could not have asked for a better venue working with Payne-Corley House! We had the pleasure of working with Hope as our coordinator, and she did a great job keeping communication open throughout the planning process. Since we had a six-month engagement, with the shorter timeframe to plan, she was so accommodating and supportive. The venue itself is gorgeous, and our summer wedding in the pavilion was perfect for our guests we had around 115 in total. The pictures came out incredible with the trees and flowers in full bloom. My husband and I enjoy good food, and the chef did not disappoint! We had the pecan-crusted chicken and the herb-crusted salmon and our guests kept telling us how much they enjoyed it. If you have a chance to attend the food and beverage showcase, it’s worth it. As the bride, it was also great to have my bridesmaids be able to enjoy the day without worrying about setting up or tearing down. The staff took care of us the entire day, and we didn’t have to worry about decor as an added stress. For a stunning venue with an intimate feel, look no further than Payne-Corley House. Our wedding was July 16, 2022 and we loved our time with them! Photo Credit: James Wayne Photography in Tulsa, OK
The Payne-Corley House is the most wonderful place in North Georgia to get married. My husband and I got married there in early October. I wish I could do it again next weekend. There is no such thing as a bad picture for wedding photography. The food is bar none. All of the event staff are helpful, cheerful, kind, and make the day beyond one of dreams. Krista helped make the day go smoothly. From in house floral work to the final goodbye I will always be thankful we chose Payne-Corley. Don’t hesitate to use this venue for any special event. I will cherish my wedding under the tree and dancing in the ballroom forever.
We attended a wedding here for the first time and had a lovely time. The food was very good and the staff was quite attentive. It was a nice site for the ceremony as well, but beware of the trains, which seem to come quite often, just a short distance away. The coordinator seemed to be a top of things within her control to keep the festivities moving alony om schedule. I think my only complaint was that it was quite warm inside with about 150 people in the summer heat.
