I LOVE LOVE LOVE. I used to go somehwere else and PCI is so much cheaper and BETTER!!! Tarrah did my cut and she was amazing. She would not let me leave until she knew everything was PERFECT!! She was the best and she made me feel so welcome. She was personable. When you sit in her chair it feel like you are her best friend. We did curtain bangs and a maintenance cut with long layers to keep my length !

I highly recommend going to Libby Ferrel for eyelash extensions! If I didn’t know her, I would’ve guessed she was much closer to graduating. She’s got a system down, she’s very personable, has a very steady hand, and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. On top of all of these great skills, the lashes alone looks exactly how I wanted them to! I’m very pleased with Libby & her work and I will be back for more sessions with her!

I was in on February 2 and had a chemical peel and a mask with Hannah P. She was gentle yet very thorough. She will explain the process as she goes if you want her to. My skin felt amazing when I left. I have had no problems and my skin feels smoother. Thank you Hannah P.

21st my visit was with Millie Black for a facial treatment. She was very professional and confident during the process. As she applied each step she explained what it was and what I might feel. She also explained that at anytime if something was uncomfortable to let her know and she would remove it. I look forward to future visits with Ms Black. Very enjoyable and results were excellent. My facial refreshed my facial skin just as she suggested that was what I needed.

I've come to PCI multiple times over the past few years. I've always had great service here, but tonight was definitely the best! I booked with Jenifer S, and she was super friendly and fun to talk with while she did my hair. She was also super knowledgeable and confident with what she was doing. Jenifer did a fabulous job!!! I booked with her again and I'm already looking forward to my next appointment with her. Highly recommend PCI for anyone who is looking for a stylist at a very great price. I've only done my hair here, but I've also had friends get other services done and they've loved it! Kudos to all the educators and student stylists at PCI in Ames!

Absolutely loved my experience here! I got a balayage service with Sidney, and she did a fantastic job! I was nervous at first because, after reading the reviews, it seemed like the experience varied depending on what provider you booked with and I wasn't sure who would be good at hair color. I'm so glad I did, though, because I ended up with a beautiful balayage at a great price. If you are on the fence about booking here, let me ease your conscience. First, I highly recommend Sidney - she was super professional and highly skilled. I cannot believe how well my hair turned out, and I felt like a million bucks walking out of there! However, I saw a lot of different stylists doing hair cuts, colors, and styles, and everything turned out amazing. Second, I read some reviews about instructors not being present or supervising work. This was not my experience. The educator helped my stylist and I come up with a plan for lightening and coloring my hair I am very dark, naturally, and checked in throughout the service, as well as at the end. She didn't provide so much guidance, though, that I doubted the knowledge of my stylist. Finally, you cannot beat the price! As a college student, I needed something that wouldn't break the bank, but I didn't want a sub-par color job. The price here was great and a tentative quote was provided to me upfront as well. The price is in no way indicative of the service, as I felt that Sidney did a fabulous job!

I brought my 5 year old daughter in to get a haircut today. The haircut and service provided was excellent.. HOWEVER, my daughter wanted 2 little braids in her hair and I was not told that would be extra! I was charged $26 on top of the haircut for 2 little braids in a 5 year olds hair that literally took 5-10 minutes to do! My total was like $42! I'm sorry but that is crazy to me! It was very unprofessional to not be informed that this would be an added fee on top of the haircut! Had I known it was going to cost this much we would not have done the braids. I'm very disappointed.

The communication of prices and times could be better, or at least not posted online for super cheap if going to be charged more. The students are amazing at what they do and show that they truly care about making you happy with your final product no matter what you are getting done! Recommend Chelsea Bird!!

I’ve gone to Ella DeWitt for 2 services now and I have been SO INCREDIBLY pleased with both times. She does such a great job making you feel comfortable and relaxed. She’s very educated in her craft and walks you through the whole process. I can’t wait until we go back. Ive recommended so many friends to Ella and they all have had an amazing time ! BOOK WITH ELLA DEWITT!!!!
