Horrible law firm, Tim served me a bunch of eviction notices based on lies, and instead of doing any research on their own they just believed my landlord. I was able to prove that everything she said was a lie with documents to support. Extremely unprofessional I have filed a complaint with the Oregon State Bar. DO NOT USE!!

I worked with Michael at the Murphy Law Group and was very pleased with all of his work. I live out-of-state and needed help with a tenant in Portland, and Michael was both efficient, thorough, and communicative via email and phone, so I did not need to make a special trip just for the legal process. He made the overall paperwork / agreement process pretty simple and was an excellent consultant on all legal and property issues. I would absolutely work with him again if I needed to.

i can't begin to describe the relief that the Murphy Law Group was able to provide me with. I had a renter occupying my daylight basement and essentially holding me hostage in my own home. I tried navigating the Oregon legal system on my own but was thwarted by our liberal justice system at every turn. Tim Murphy was able to provide me with the "distance" I needed to achieve to avoid my doing something I would regret for the rest of my life. He truly liberated me from a horrible situation.

Update: Please do yourself a favor and take the negative reviews seriously. His go to response to a negative review is the same: Doesn't find anyone by this name or scenario. Well, I've attached a photo of one of our correspondences. So, add liar to the review! PS. I only found out after his abominable representation that he actually knew the defendant. He should be disbarred and had I lived in the country, I would have taken the time to report him.. You've been warned...... Totally incompetent! He worked an eviction for a tenant I had that stopped paying rent. He screwed up the paperwork that was filed such that he had to file again, which allowed for even more time in my house without paying. He even tried to charge me for refiling until I brought it to his attention that it was his error and I will not pay for your incompetence. In reality he should have paid for the extra time she was allotted in my house due to his screw up. He was useless and a total waste of money. There are better attorneys out there and luckily I have a better one now, should I ever need it! Caveat Emptor

This law firm is shady and have not returned my calls about my families possessions locked in a property I was wrongfully kicked out of he lied about dates and times he served us
