Peabody Auditorium

We had a tremendous time singing all of the old songs with Martha Reeves "Jimmy Mack When Are You Coming Back" and Mary Wilson " Stop In The Name Of Love" I had the privilege of being one of Mary Wilson's back up singers during the concert, thanks to my husband and cousin encouraging me to up! I want to publicly thank my husband Al known to others as Josh for taking the initiative to purchase the tickets to take me out on a surprise date. The seats were excellent. We were seated next to Martha Reeves Family members that she had never met until that Saturday night. To my husband "Josh I love you with all of my heart". I thank God for your life every day and for blessing us to celebrate 30 years of marriage April 23. To all of the married couples, keep the fire burning by doing spontaneous things for one another just because. Peabody auditorium, keep providing out standing performances. You guys are the Best! Jerry Seinfeld was incredible. The theater is so old and seats so close. Even Jerry said something about the " nice wood floors" . Parking was good, just get there early. It seems to be the City of Daytona could update the Peabody in many ways. It was like being in an old school gym with grim black curtains.Wont be back.

This place has it all from Broadway shows to ballet, symphonies, comedy, concerts, dance competitions and magical acts! Great old theater appeal with contemporary amenities. I have to mention the courteous staff and the most amazing professional stage hands, technical director who make it all happen with effortless ease..... Come and enjoy your favorite show in the heart of Daytona Beach, Florida

This fan shaped, dry sounding hall is showing it's years and the building is in need of improvements both acoustically and physically. The symphony society hosts/invites good traveling symphony orchestras. London symphony used to have their summer residency there but not any longer.
