Absolutely amazing! The muscles were just so good, we had to get more bread so we could sop up the sauce. The blackened catfish and shrimp and grits were perfect and delicious. They also gave us a little basket of the the most delicious bread and corn bread muffins in the world! But definitely, the best thing we ate was the bananas foster!! SOOOO GOOD! One small complaint, is that the lobster Rangoon did not seem worth the price. They were pretty good, but you only get 3 for $19. I wouldn’t recommend getting those.
This place is one of my favorites! Where do I start? The vibe and atmosphere is fun, the service was amazing, and the food was 10/10 I definitely suggest oysters…of course! But the brunch menu is incredible as well. I went twice in one weekend. Will absolutely be back!
We were in town for a wedding and read the Google reviews. We saw that the food was stellar and we saw Quincy was the waiter to have. Reserved on Open Table and Tammy was SO nice at the desk. She seated us right away. Quincy is probably really great BUT we had Tim as our server. He was AWESOME! The food was SPECTACULAR. We have eaten in New Orleans often and this was right up there with Acme!! Thank you to Tim, Tammy AND the Chef! Great experience….. we WILL be back!
After a week of sightseeing in DC with my mom and my girlfriend and many great meals we wanted to finish on a high note but still casual. We could not chosen better with PDOP. Service was lovely, food very tasty and fresh and reasonable price wise for the area and compared to other restaurants in DC. Really loved it and would recommend to anyone for their last night or any celebration. Drinks were super tasty too. Loved it!!
Pretty disappointed by the oysters. We got a dozen mixed oysters and some were barely oysters so tiny while one was the size of two oysters you had to cut it in half. Shucking wasn’t so great and there was no brine no saltiness at all in 4 of them, as if they had been washed out in freshwater. Martini was good but inconsistent in taste.
If you're in DC......make the time to go to Pearl Dive Oyster Palace. Quincy our server was the BEST!!!! Food was just the right portions and we enjoyed the music which was a vibe but not too loud. Actually went for dinner on Friday and came back on Sunday for Brunch.
Half off oysters on Monday and for happy hour. I think you can only avail of this deal if seated at the bar. Their oysters are both local and from out of town. The mussels dish here is good too, comes with a lot of bread.
Loved the food, delicious. Staff were very pleasant and cheerful, especially Nate. Enjoyed our dinner, certainly will go back again.
This is my go-to spot when I'm in town visiting my daughters. We love oysters! When I'm there, I only order the oysters raw and cooked so can't speak to anything thing else on the menu. There wait staff explain the differences in the raw choices well.Food: 5/5
Great find in NW DC for a daughter father brunch! Oysters and cocktails were top notch. We will be back!!!
