My 15 year-old daughter has been working with Scott Pearson for five years now taking voice lessons with him. I can not say enough amazing things about him. Her voice has evolved tremendously since she started working with him. He has been instrumental to her growth as a performer. From helping her with pitch, song choice, audition prep to overall industry support - we have been very lucky to have found someone to help nurture her talent. Recently, Scott hosted a two hour recording session with my 10-year-old daughter's Girl Scout Troop, showing them what it is like to record and perform pop songs. We chose Olivia Rodrigo's "Good for You" and the girls had a blast. Scott broke down the session for them explained what goes into recording a pop song then taught the girls how to sing it themselves. As a seasoned TV Producer myself, I have to say I am also very impressed with Scott's studio at the Monroe Center in Hoboken, NJ. He is so much more than voice coach and a piano teacher - he has a working production studio to help his clients record music, mix, video self tapes and more. His wealth of knowledge, skill and experience is invaluable.
Scott is hands down the best investment I have made in myself as a professional thus far in my career. Not only is he an absolute pro at what he does, but he’s one of the friendliest, kindest, and most supportive coaches I have ever had the pleasure and privilege of learning from. You can tell he really values his students’ time and squeezes so much music, knowledge, and joy into each lesson.
Scott is an amazing instructor! Even during these crazy times and teaching remotely, he still keeps the student engaged. He is great with picking the perfect songs for my child to audition with and also to help her branch out and grow as a performer. I would highly recommend him as a vocal coach!
Scott is an excellent teacher. He is incredibly talented himself - singing to his live piano accompaniment is amazing! He has a professional, engaging, confidence building style. He has helped select and prep for various audition pieces for both theater and commercial auditions - his industry experience is significant. Highly recommend Scott!
I've been working with Scott for a little under a year now and can't recommend him enough... Every time I stepped on the musical improv stage I felt like a complete imposter with the most amazing sense of humor, but a horrible, screeching singing voice... I needed to find someone that could show me the path from going from complete singing newbie to confidently singing improvised high notes on stage... Scott has provided that and more. He creates a super positive environment where you can't help but thrive. He meets you exactly where you are and gets to know your style... After that it's off to the races because each session he shows you exactly how to get better and makes sure you always know that you're making significant progress with the work you're putting in. If you're looking for a voice coach in the area, you'd be hard pressed to find a better option, so save yourself the time and trouble and just reach out to Scott today.
My 12-year daughter has been taking voice lessons with Scott since September, and she absolutely loves it. Scott is also the Musical Director of Hoboken Children's Theater, where she joined the Junior Company this year. So, she benefits from his expertise in both private lessons and theater and has definitely learned a lot from him.
Scott is a highly engaging teacher and keeps a positive high energy throughout the whole hour. The velocity of learning is twice that of other music classes my 8 yr old son has attended. He is excited to go to class every week!!
Scott is so knowledgeable about music and works well with children. I accompanied my 10yo for a session and learned SO much about music. His passion is inspiring!
