I'm so glad I found this place! The service, products available and price are amazing. What we thought would cost a few hundred dollars only cost us $50! The staff there was so helpful and answered all my questions. I've never met more people in one place so knowledgeable about their products.
It's one of my favorite places. If you are looking for a lot of rock or just a little. It's definitely a fun place to go get ideas for new projects.. I highly recommend visiting..
So disappointed in our visit to buy rocks today. Though pebble junction has a wide variety of rocks for decorating your yard, nothing is priced. We had to go back and forth to find the name of the kind of rocks we wanted and then come back up front to get the prices. Gina was very patient and kind but she was referring to prices in a outdated book so after we selected 30 pieces and struggled with them back to the front we were told they were more expensive than quoted and they were not in the right location so the name didn’t match what we were buying! So unorganized and management was unwilling to work with us because we were misquoted! The whole time she was quoting us prices from the book the other guys there didn’t even say anything to her, they waited until we dragged the rock up in our cart, until we were fully invested. I’m sure they thought we would buy them anyway. We walked away and won’t use them again.
Rocks add so much character to any location. I have bought tons of rocks from Pebble Junction for decades. They have supplied great stones for our yard and indoor gardens, both aquariums and terrariums. My latest purchase was for breeding angelfish that spawn on verticle surfaces, like slate. Great selection of different kinds of rocks in all sizes, colors, and textures. Fun to just tour the place to get ideas and see some creative usage.
Pebble Junction is a incredible area with a huge selection of landscaping resources. I have transported numerous tons of river rocks and crushed seashell this year alone. It can be a bit rough sometimes with patrons organizing in, out, paying, delivery, and everything else that comes with a quarry between two railroad tracks. The key is to mind yourself, find what you want, tell the front station, then go to have your truck or trailer loaded, then pay back at main station. Most of the team is extremely helpful and kind. There are so many incredible types of material, making just visiting a fascinating educating experience.
I purchased 5 tons of 1” Seminole Chips and rolls of weed-block fabric to promote drainage in between my concrete driveway ribbons. Mark helped me with my order over the phone and it was delivered via dump truck in a couple of days for $130. I found them to be prompt and easy to work with. One thing I will say is always add 15% to your order to avoid being short like I was as an extra ton of material may be less costly than an additional delivery fee.
