And if you have never gone to visit Peco's, just 3 miles down the road from that large place in Claymont, you are truly missing out. The owner and staff will treat you like family and will make the best recommendations as well as provide extremely personal service. I started shopping here because they partnered with a DE bourbon group that I belong to on a barrel pick and I was introduced to Ed when he hosted my DE bourbon group in store for a meet and greet. I have never set foot again inside of that Claymont store after that. I highly recommend to the store.

The only vendor for me. Top notch whiskey library, and the best craft brews you can find. Staff knowledge is the key for me. Damien and Andy always take great care to make sure I always have something new and flavorful to try. Wouldn't go anywhere else

Always very helpful, my only question is why Peco's Liquor Store does not provide strong bags with handles to put the paper bags into, to carry out the somewhat heavy purchase that is made. The integrity of a thin paper bag does not feel secure! Always feel like my purchase is going to rip through the paper bag!****Peco's is a upscale store, very clean & orderly & the people that work there are pleasant and very professional. Thank You!

Local store, family owned for generations. Knowledgeable and very fair when it comes to allocated whiskeys. The regular allocations are placed at random times of the day so everyone has a chance to grab it. Once a year allocations through a raffle. Ed does a good job informing everyone and most importantly sells at MSRP.

This is a great spot, especially for a nice selection of beer. I’m thankful they always have Boddington Ale, which is my favorite English Ale. If you don’t see what you’re looking for check the walk in refrigerator, you can find Modelo amongst other things.

Just go....Ed is fantastic! He will interact with you and share his knowledge. I've been to other stores and the owner won't even engage a customer willing to spend hundreds on liquor.

I feel proud when I recommend this place to family and friends. A small, locally owned, family business. A great neighborhood shop. The staff is so good, sometimes they know what I’m looking for before I ask for it. Not only that but they get hard-to-find, limited edition craft beers in, do wine tastings, host food truck events, and even put on the annual Great Pumpkin Debate in September...which is a blast. Shop at Peco’s. Because it’s better.
