I have been wanting to write this review for a while, but have been overwhelmed by the thought of how to put all of the wonderful things about PSPA into words. To keep it simple, PSPA offers incredible technical training, while providing a fun, family atmosphere that fosters a love a dance and sparks life long relationships. Although it may be possible to find other studios who also thrive on the technical aspect of developing a dancer, the ability to pair that technique training with artistry, strength, and a passion for the performing arts in general is what makes PSPA truly unique. Without the typical dancers body, or the ability to do a perfect split or 8 rotation pirouette, I found my self drawn to the professional dance realm both teaching and performing, and always thrived, impressing people with my technique, strength, determination, work-ethic, and artistry. I cannot say enough about this incredible place, everything it gave me as a child, and everything it continues to give me as an adult. My only regret is that I won't live close enough to send my children there to dance one day...but we will surely visit, and there will be dancing :)

PSPA changed my life from the moment I walked in the door. I didn’t just learn about the fundamentals of dance, such as technique, culture, and poise, but I developed skills that have helped me as an adult. I have learned to be responsible- in I never forget anything (from costume pieces to notes for an important meeting); I have learned to be confident- I have no fear of standing up in front of a crowd (for performances or public speaking); I have learned to be a team player¬- I know how to get along with my peers, as well as my competitors; I have learned to be happy- I can express myself while fulfilling needs for physical and emotional health. None of that would have been possible without the lessons taught to me by the members of the PSPA community, especially Kathleen Kelble. PSPA is more than just another dance studio; it is a captivating, inclusive and motivating environment for children of all ages. If I could go back, I would in a heartbeat!
