Visited about 1:50pm 4/19/22 Place seems poorly ran. Ordered a large fry and was told after they brought it out they don't have ketchup. It's not like there isn't 50 grocery store in the area that has it.... Insult to injury you gotta look at the mock ketchup cans they use for decoration lol Subs were good and fresh, price a tad high but not bad with current inflation. Lady working register could be barely understood. She needs to speak up and maybe take some language classes.
This location is trash. I’m sorry but I have to be honest. Don’t even waste your time. The workers are so sorry and lazy. Negative energy over your food. No care or compassion about preparing your meal. They close when they want too. So don’t mind the store hours . This was suppose to be a Philly cheese steak. This is nothing but chicken and cheese . Probably the worse franchise out of all locations. So disappointing because I love penn station. Never again
I have been to this location many times over the past five years, and, unfortunately, I honestly think each time I go is a worse experience than the last. Which is awful bc this is the only Penn Station in metro ATL and I love their sandwiches. But this may have been my last visit there. Firstly, we almost always go when they first open, so I honestly don’t understand how there can be so much wrong so early in the day. But two things are always constant: it always smells like wet, dirty dish rags and this time there were dirty dish rags all over the floor - see photos taken right when they opened and they never have carbonation in the soda machine so skip the Coke and just go with water. When the owners are there, they treat the staff awful in front of customers mostly- talking down to them. This time the women’s bathroom was out of order and the men’s was disgusting - I’ll save you some details but something was smeared on the walls again, we had gotten there as *soon* as they opened. The only reason I gave them two stars is because the food was good. I hate to say it, but if you have other options for dine in, I highly recommend going elsewhere.
I didn’t even know this place existed until just a week ago. The staff and the place was amazing. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak with fries and drink. It was AMAZING! I say amazing in caps because I don’t consider this a restaurant. This is more like a fast food place so and it’s AMAZING just for that. The only drawback I have is they have no type of hot sauce or jalapeños at all! I even asked the owner and she didn’t have any in the back. Luckily they have ranch but not having anything spicy is most likely a deal breaker for me.
Employees clearly not wearing a mask nor asked to put one on when a sign is clearly posted on the door. His response when I asked was I’m not working today. I get home 20 mins away and my fries look like old and new fries were mixed together and the new ones were undercooked. My sandwich had an abundance of banana peppers that they overpowered the entire sandwich. I’m so disappointed with this location. The menu items aren’t cheap. More care needs to go into preparing the food. Needless to say I will not be coming back!
The food quality is superb! The fries come out fresh a can be and crispy! The design of the subs are consistent and very neat in appearance! The only complaint I would have is for the staff to have a sense of urgency when making these meals while remaining consistent with great customer service. At some points with the customers I felt that the work production slowed to a comfortable pace when it should be as quick as possible while remaining consistent! Other then that everything else is great! A definite reccomend!
Wanted to try something new. Arrived at 11:08 on a Thursday. The entire restaurant had a sour mop smell. Two people working and they hadn't completed setup yet. The tea wasn't prepared nor was the lemonade. No ketchup. The ice machine had no ice and when I asked if they had any ice in the back I was told "There is none". As for the meal, the sandwich was extremely wet and the bread became immediately soggy. The fries were delicious and well prepared. Sadly, the overall impression was terrible.
I’m honestly disappointed in this place. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, my husband and I LOVE LOVE LOVE everything about Penn Station. So, to find that there’s one about forty-five minutes away was very exciting. I should have known something was off by how empty this place was, but against better judgment, we ventured in anyway. First off, the service was extremely slow. It took almost thirty minutes to get our chicken philly’s, and mind you I said that the place was empty; which means we were the only ones there. Once we made it home with our food the disappointment was maximized. The chicken tasted bland and unseasoned, and there were so many onions. This pic I added shows just how many there were, and this was only from the FIRST HALF of the sandwich. Honestly, it was ridiculous. There were more onions than there was meat. After a few bites we were over it and threw the remainder of our sandwiches away. I would never visit this store again.
Came for Philly Cheese steak with my son. Small area inside, outdoor seating as well. Person who took the order was friendly, and took his advice on ordering one medium fry because it was enough for us both. I had the 10" Philly with sauteed onions, banana pickles, mayonnaise, mustard, and this time pizza sauce. It was delivered hot with plenty of cheese. Fresh cut fries were ok, and could have been warmer. Had the fresh squeezed lemonade as well. Few patrons before and after us. Placed a napkin under the table to balance it. Overall good experience.
It's delicious. Penn Station serves both hot and cold subs and crispy fries made to order. I've had the Philly and the Italian, but you can also custom make your sub to your liking. The staff is friendly and attentive and actually seem to appreciate your business.
