Penny's Drive In

Very friendly ladies! I was told to come here by my friend and customer Aric who purchased 2 cars from me 25 years apart! I ordered the hamburger curry golash local style not Hungarian. It was pretty Ono be sure to ask for pickled onions!

Penny's has been a family favorite for decades. We are addicted to the roast turkey plate get the onions!. When my wife was recovering in the hospital after our first born, her meal request was a Penny's roast turkey plate. We stop in whenever we can. No better low-key, family run grinds on the island! Kid-friendliness: The staff is so sweet. Our last visit, they gave our kids little fun bags with crayons, coloring pages, etc. We'll keep returning!

Friendly staff and a great atmosphere!!! I was gonna just grab my food and leave but I decided to stay. I just felt so welcome and loved by the staff. I will definitely be back many more times. The loco Moco I had was OUTSTANDING I mean sweet Jesus! it was good. The gravy was awesome and the Patty was hand pattied beef. I'm very happy with my order and so impressed. 5/5!!!

Previous: Food is always great and they even implemented some great safety measures. I'm totally gonna go back! Current: I went back again recently and I gotta say..... nothing's changed. Food is still on and I love this place. Gives me that old school vibe and the food reminds me of my childhood.

Their fried rice special is a great deal! The large size comes w/ 2 eggs & choice of meat. Everyone is so friendly and even handled an order of 45 plates for 5:30am with no problem! I'll definitely be back!Dine in: YesTakeout: Yes

Ordered a terriyaki burger and fries. Was not disappointed. You have to wear a face mask in the store. They only accept cash. You can call in advance and place an order for pick up, or order at the window. Waited less than 10 mins for my food.

Stopped by to pick up some breakfast and ran into a really uncomfortable situation with the owner. She was calling city workers lazy and basically really rude and obnoxious. Her own worker looked uncomfortable with what the owner was saying. I work in the city's sewer department, and if she wants to try my job instead and see what we deal with then she can talk. I've recommended this place to friends for years because of the great burgers, but now I am NEVER going back and not recommending this to anyone. It makes you wonder what she says about anyone after they leave.
