The owner and his wife are always very helpful. There store policy is if you see something you like but you don't like the price speak with the owner and sometimes times he is willing to go down in price within reason. I love this place I have bought many items at their thrift store. The store is well organized they have a little of everything.
First time in & even though I didn't buy anything, I'll be back. Extremely clean & organized. Had some really cool & unique items. They seemed to only put goods worth selling on the floor no junk or broken items, which I always appreciate. Great local thrift spot!
I love this place i walk there so often the people know who i am when i go in. Of course im only 13 and i love thrifting. There are always things that interest me although i may not buy things very often, they do interest me. Although i do have to say something about the man who i assume owns the place he reminds me of one of my favorite drummers from the 70’s. He is very nice infact i love all of the staff there. Although i do record shop often and if they have more records i would definitely buy them. I will continue to shop there with my neighbor until i move. - soph
Stopped in here last week after work and enjoyed browsing this thrift shop. The gentleman described how they buy and sell items, that it's like a garage sale and allow some negotiation. I got a lovely artificial plant and will definitely be back!
Update: In regards to owner response, I would like to tell you that you have me confused with another customer. I never had a conversation with one of your employees about any item in the store nor did I make an offer on anything, including a pyrex dish. Thank you. Has potential, but fairly expensive for a "thrift" store. Bowls/Pans/Pyrex priced WAY to high. A small covered pyrex dish was $15.99 ridiculous Probably need to figure out if they are a thrift store or an antique store. No clothing items that are higher end. Very clean. Nice people.
Thrift shops are cool AND Pennywise Thrift is fantastic. I really like the new location at Wadsworth Blvd and 65th. I think you owe it to yourself to drop in. You'll be glad you did. They have raffles and giveaways !!!! It's always a fun time stopping by.
A gem of a thrift store! And really nice owner! Lots of treasures to be found and if you need something in particular just ask! They've got way more than what is on the floor. I'll def be back!

If I could do negative stars I would. The lady at the register is an idiot. The store is cluttered and smells weird. Don’t waste your time.
