Penzeys Spices

My wife pointed out that I was close to a Penzeys Spices and that I should visit. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. Can't say enough nice things about the staff. I liked how they had bottles that you could open to get a sense of what you were buying. The selection of vanilla was incredible. Lots of suggestions for how to use their spices, too.

Love all these spices and the mixes! The shop also has a great setup and atmosphere. I really like that they have samples to smell of pretty much everything. Some things, like vanilla, are pricey right now, but many of their mixes are great deals.

Quality spices and unique spice blends at a reasonable price. The store smells wonderful...all those spices arranged to easily find the type you need. Staff is friendly and helpful, always ready with a suggestion on use of their products. I usually order online, but whenever I am at least an hour drive from Penzey's am delighted to visit the store.

My spice Mecca! Love getting all the herbs, spices, and seasonings I need for my Holiday cooking. Best part, "IF" they don't have it in the store due to low supply, I can order on line and it is delivered to my home. I always find new spices/seasonings to try.

Penzeys always has great sales. Sign up for their mailing list and you get lots of free items through the year. They have strong political messages, but mostly their message is about bringing everyone together because we all love food.

Super warm, friendly and knowledgeable staff helped me on my first visit. I received excellent recommendations based on my tastes and diet. I purchased some small sample jars to get started with and received a free gift. A fun place to visit it shop.

When I first started out on my own away from home, the cheap .49¢ herbs and spices we're great. They could make the 3 for $1.00 frozen pizzas taste better than the cardboard they came on. Someone gave me the bicentennial rub and it changed my chicken experience immeasurably. I visited the store and completely lost it over the variety of spices there were like ten kinds of cinnamon alone!. I picked up some tiny jars of spice blends to give to friends when I stay with them; it was nice to give them something useful/interesting.

This is the only place I go to buy my spices anymore. I love that you can smell them prior to purchase. Their selection is amazing and they even have a decently sized salt free selection for those watching their sodium. Staff is always ready to help with any questions.
