Zero Stars. 8 years with People Ready. Arrived at a job site this morning, but the job posting had zero useful information. No contact number, no building info, etc. Called the office multiple times, left a voicemail. Called to call off thirty minutes later and was "deactivated" from the system from the only guy working who complained about being the only one there and having too much to do! So if you have problems, call the True Blue Compliance Alert office and file a report!!!! People Ready is a failing company, and I've seen it first hand all over the USA!!!!! LaborMax pays more and treats you better!!!!! Express Employment is awesome.
This place is Amazing!!! Thank you Melissa for getting me onboarded and on the way to my first job within hours. I love the jobstack app. It makes it really easy to pull up jobs
I called the branch to check on the pay I didn't receive for a job. Rachel was very rude, short and nasty with me. She told me she'd let me know when she, "gets done with what I'm doing." No time frame on when to call back, didn't ask for my information so she could investigate and get back to me later. I had to call the 800 number to the corporate office and file an official complaint with the compliance department. You'd think I asked her for a personal loan or a cash advance! Never again. Next step will be the department of labor. She needs a different job!
Jeremey was great in getting me in boarding. It was fast and easy. Excited to represent them on the job site!
The location on Main Street is a joke, I scheduled my onboarding a week ago and when I went in to the office today to complete it I was turned away and told they are on a hiring freeze. Total disrespect from both the employees in the office. What a joke. Thank goodness I call another location witch is willing to complete my onboarding asap. The office on Main street need a complete overhaul
Barely picks up the phone, they lie to you so they can brush you off n get off the phone quicker and they barely ever have work at this one and the other one on Craig rd.plus they play with your money they NEVER pay on time! Several people complain on the jobs I went to that they still haven't gotten paid for jobs they did a day ago 2 days ago or even a week ago.. My advice go to Tampa FL the people ready there they won't play with your hours or money like the ones over here in Vegas do, ridiculous.
UPDATE : People ready Las Vegas has now blocked me from using my job stacks app! This is in Retaliation of this review ! Now i can not see any jobs as I travel.. Definitely calling corporate. They need ZERO STARS .. show up for a job and the guy said he canceled the ticket yesterday. My ticket was still active in fact PR called me to confirm i would show up for my ticket .I wasted my gas to get there and still have no show up pay nearly a week later and 4 phone calls promising my pay . Me and my husband travel and work for PR across the country And this branch by far is the most horrible one we’ve dealt with. My husband took a ticket and when he showed up the customer said you need black pants etc but no where on the ticket did it say those were needed… yall need to do better ! You are giving PR a bad name !
I was very disappointed with the lack of work that comes from this location. Sara always has about 10 homeless people sleeping all over the floors and the lack of hygiene will turn anyone not homeless who is currently looking for work away fast. I have been on the app for 2 weeks and have NEVER seen a job available. I called several times being polite asking Sara if there is any sort of way to get any work from them and she always says, “just check the app”. I have a car and I am willing to travel to work. I don’t blame the companies for not wanting this branch to provide workers if there sending anyone that looked like the 10 homeless at the branch. Great company very poor employees and manager. Also I called the number the owner gave me and it was not a working number!?!
They shorted me 2 hours. Would have been easily confirmed by the business. Left 3 to 4 voicemails never a call back. One time someone answered and said they weren't able to help. Also think they took me off this job because i had the gall to ask them to pay me for what i worked. Sketchy company many other better ones in vegas.
No respect for time or safety. You must use their JobStack app which is very glitchy. The app has no alert feature, so you have to constantly check it for available jobs, which post at random times and usually disappear within a minute, so you have no time to clarify pertinent information that is almost always intentionally absent before you accept the job. For example, none of the job postings include how long your shift is; I accepted a job that turned out to be only four hours long with a three hour commute time that I wouldn't have accepted had I known. PPE requirements always turned out to be nonsense when I arrived at the job site. You might get paid the same day, you might not; PR gives employers 24 hours to pay you, so once again, you're usually stuck checking your phone randomly for hours wondering when you'll actually get paid. I could go on, but there isn't enough space in this review. The final straw, was when the branch manager, Anthony Washington, tried to cram down my throat that 534 pounds divided by 4 is < 100 lbs, and that sending people who are completely unprepared/uninformed/ill-equipped to handle 4x4x8ft long 534 lb objects is "safe", let alone ethical. P.S. You are compelled to use the Wisely card they give you in order to get paid. If you go to pissedconsumer.com, you'll find this card is one of the worst; 1.4 out of 5 rating, and over $50K in reported losses alleged theft on the part of Wisely. See a pattern of rampant fraud?
