I am providing an h o n e s t review that is neither accommodating nor punative and this one in particular is challenging because the staff were friendly and attentive and because we were the only people eating in on a Friday night ... they have been there for years but must be holding on by a thread. This was our third time eating here over the past 10 years .. about every three years we break down and give it another chance ... and everytime it is very disappointing ... 12 meals and none have been good Thai good not even good white-people Thai food. This time will be the last time. We spent $60 for four entries getting a soup that was flavorless and lacking, pad Thai with an extra lemon grass chicken topping that was nothing more than a chicken cutlet over grey noodles. Yakasoba noodles with mushy freezer burned squid that was inedible and pumpkin curry that was just not there ... all the portions small, all the flavors muted, medium spice was like no spice and mild spice was not even Thai... I cannot say anything more than it was below average and not worthy of trying. The food wasn't even good food. I will note we went there again, willing to give it a third chance, driven by several glowing reviews - I don't know what to tell you other than those reviewers don't know Thai from a hole in the ground. I woukd emphatically recommend passing on Pepper Tree Thai.

Our favorite Thai spot in town. The customer service is always great and we have never had to wait longer than 30 mins for a meal, even in prime time. The pineapple fried rice and pad thai are some of our favorites along with all of the currys!

I'm amazed that this place is rated 4.5 while I write this. Easily the worst "Thai" food I've ever had. It's bland and Americanized. I usually will give a place three chances, but not here.

Authentic Thai food. I used to only order Pad Thai at Thai restaurants, but at Pepper Tree, I order something new every time and it never fails. Highly recommended!

Excellent food and service! Ordered the Basil Fried rice, Red curry and Thai iced tea. We came in close to the closing time and they were still very accommodating. By far the best Thai food We've had!

I used to never be a huge fan of Thai until I tried this spot. Their House Curry is amazing. Chicken Satay is Juicy and flavorful. Rice is always cooked to perfection. Crab Rangoons are packed full. Quick and delicious take out

Always so delicious! This place is the comfort food I crave. They always are way quicker than the estimated wait time which I appreciate! I get the mussaman curry and the pad Thai, they always hit the spot. My fave spot in Raleigh hills
