Performance Bicycle

Great service, bicycle maintenance including building wheelsets here. They sell mainly road bicycles, but might have mountain bikes for sale as well. Stop by to pump up your tires or to buy a granola bar. They sell rain jackets, socks, and other apparel. There's a new concrete path that goes under the highway to the Nyberg Woods and prohibits cars or motorcycle, making it a convenient route for accessing Performance Bicycles by bicycle. Last I heard the business organizes group rides open to everybody on Saturday mornings. Make sure to contact them first and get the details if you are looming for a group road ride.

I bought a discovery 3 and liked it and had it for a month. Then realized I needed something different. Took the bike back with no problems and got an awesome Fuji absolute 1.1. Thank u so much It was great working with u

A good place for getting bike supplies but what like about this spot is their regularly scheduled bike rides every Saturday mornings

Poor service and poor manufacturer support. Go to a more specialized shop to buy your bike. You will struggle to find the mechanic in shop. You will struggle with unreliable parts and a staff who knows very little or nothing about what they sell.

Poor customer service. Went in to have a wheel checked to see if it was out of balance. Walked into service where there were 2 guys sitting down on computer not working on bikes. Barely acknowledged I was there. Told them what I needed. I was told that I could not drop anything off for repair until the end of week on Saturday. If I wanted to make an appointment I would have to wait at least 10 days. After driving up there from Salem not the service I expected. I drove to a local bike shop in Salem, what a difference, it took him 5 minutes to put my wheel on truing stand to tell me my wheel was fine. They also didn't even charge me. I have been a performance member for several years and a loyal customer. I will not be renewing my membership and will be making my biking purchases elsewhere.
