What an amazing find! I didn't know it existed, yet it's been there for 40 years! They have amazing choices of raw fish, produce, paella rice and more, as well as cooked foods such as fish and chips, paella, empanadas
I’ve been returning to this place at least twice a week for the last six weeks or so. Really love their paella. The fish is of great quality too. The staff always give me a family-like welcome every time.
Great selection of seafood with a number of prepared foods available as well. The Spanish tortilla is not to be missed. The staff are pleasant and helpful. A regular stop on our grocery circuit.
If you want to get sick go for tuna poke. Update following the response of the owner no idea why i have to do this here. I happened yesterday, Sunday afternoon. We bought tuna poke, seafood paella and seafood salad. Both of us got really sick and are still sick.
A must for all lovers of Spanish cuisine. Excellent seafood selection plus your favorite imported goodies and terrific torta, paella, etc. that they prepare if you don't feel like cooking.
Having grown up with Spanish cuisine and having cooked paellas, ourselves, i can definitely say we were completely disappointed and floored by the quality of the food prepared for us. Last week I decided to cater my husband's birthday sunday dinner celebration on 3/21/21 with Pescadeli because we had for years enjoyed A&H food Alfonso and Herminio's original business bought out by Santi and renamed Pescadeli. For appetizers I ordered "croquetas de bacalao" cod that had no cod taste, whatsoever,, and the jamón serrano "croquetas were too salty but, luckily, the beef and the chicken "empanadillas" were tasty and saved the first course. Then came the "Paella Bogavante" lobster and seafood with ample seafood but the rice was more like a dish of sticky rice rather than a grainy and fluffy one. I had talked to Isaías, the chef, the previous day and he indicated that he would be cooking it but would be gone by the time I picked up so I would not see him. When I got to the store, I was told that he did not work on sundays so someone else was cooking the paella. Pescadeli not only did not live up to its reputation but, much to my regret, I paid nearly $200 to celebrate an important occasion with a meal that could not be savored and enjoyed.
Great place for fresh seafood and many Spanish products. If you love paella, they make the best in the area. Or, you can get everything you need to make your own at home. The owners and staff are very nice and helpful. The store is small, but don't let that fool you. They have a nice selection of products at a reasonable price for the quality. Very clean. Don't miss its sister store across the street - Butcher's Alley. Wide selection of great cheeses. This is where we buy our prosciutto, jamon serrano, chorizo, and other meats.
Absolutely chaotic. 6 ppl at a time is supposed to be how they follow the covid guidelines. There were at least 15 ppl on the store. The customer service? Meh... But $34 for a whole of fish? It better be the best fish ever for that price!. Post Edit.... It was a great piece of fish!
Great products, especially is you like Spanish, Portuguese, French or Italian cooking. Great service and prices. The butcher's has some of the best product around.
Top fish monger in the area, attentive and knowledgeable service, high quality Spanish gourmet products and a great ready-made deli case. Everything you’ll need for your next paella is here, from ingredients to savvy advice.
