We had another delightful dinner at one of our neighborhood favorites. We went early on a Thursday night and avoided the crowds. The food was great and the service perfect. Sorry I didn't get a picture of the tiramisu, but that was a wonderful way to top off the meal.
Well prepared excellent Italian food including some homemade pastas. The atmosphere leaves a bit to desire but I go here because of the excellent food. The veal is amazing, gnocchi is great, specials are always very good. I get take out from here ALL THE TIME & when I want something far above average most delivery is.... Definitely check it out !
If this review was based strictly on the food I would’ve given it 4 stars. It was tasty expect the previously frozen calamari. The service wasn’t great, in my opinion you should never have to ask for water. The atmosphere left something to be desired as well. This place needs a facelift! It was pretty empty and it was a Friday night at 7:15...
Pleasant local atmosphere. Had a seafood pasta for $29. 2 shrimp, 2 scallops and a lobster tail. Told waiter I was displeased . He supposedly told the owner. No one responded for 15 minutes, we finished eating . He said he told the owner 4 times. Obviously not much interest on the owner's part. No need to return.
Customer service was outstanding, I was there with two of my friends on a late night Friday. The food was very tasty and well made. The only reason I'm noy giving a 5 star rating it's because they lack knowledge and clear options on vegan dishes, I first introduced myself saying "I'm vegan so I don't consume animals at all" the lady offered me Fish then cheese, so it got me worried on how good they would care for my vegan entree.
It's a small neighborhood restaurant that specializes in Italian seafood in case you couldn't tell by the name, but still has plenty of more 'land based' options. While probably the fanciest restaurant in the neighborhood, you don't really need to get dressed up for it. They also do take out, but do not do delivery. Good place for a quiet date, as long as you don't try to go during the rush on a holiday that typically sees a lot of dinner reservations.
Pescatore is a great little hidden gem, great food everything I have tried has been good. Fast friendly service, never busy, outdoor patio, perfect portion size. Only complaint is pricing seems a little high, but is probably fair, I'm just cheap!
Pescatore is a local gem. I had the chicken marsala, and my husband, grilled steak tips. Both dishes were perfect: tender and flavourful, with beautifully prepared sides.the steak was rare but with a satisfying char; the marsala sauce was nicely balanced between the sweet wine and the meaty mushrooms. Bread was served with pesto-infused olive oil, which was so delicious we could have made a meal if that.
New to the neighborhood - I ordered the gnocchi with a side of meatballs and was extremely impressed. Amazing italian home cooked meals. I didn't wait long and everything was cooked perfectly.
Pescatore is the rare restaurant with something for every occasion. If you're looking for a nicer, more romantic meal their dining room is the best Italian food outside the North End. If you're looking for a quick weekday meal, their take out has got you covered, including an $8 weekday pizza special.
