Pet Play House

I first found Pet Play House a year ago and have been so happy with the experience with them and the great environment for my animals. When your dog rushes to the front door on his own and can't wait to go in, the message is really clear! Boarding or day care, all excellent. I have never felt happier for my animals and more comfortable leaving them to board. Staff and procedures are incredible! Love this place.

I think this place is well made but when I drop my dogs off You can feel tension in the office between employees. If it’s like that I can imagine how my dog will feel seeing that they are more sensitive. Also VERY suspicious that I couldn’t be shown my dogs room well under construction?! How do I know I got what I was paying for ? How do I know my dog wasn’t breathing in chemicals? What proof do you have that the dogs are safe ? I think this is something BBB should be investigating. Walked in once will never walk back in again . Hope this makes pet parents question things ! These are our children!

I have been boarding my dogs at The Pet Playhouse for 8 years. I never worry. My dogs are always well taken care of there and come home happy campers. The facility is well maintained and offers many options as can well as daycare. Word of advice - book boarding out early! They have a tendency to sell out, especially on busy weekends here in Reno as well as holidays. Once you've used Pet Playhouse, you're family there. Kudos to Lisa and her team for the valuable business they run for our fur babies and our community.

Our dog LOVES Pet Playhouse! We drop her off when we run errands and go to the movies. She has the best time playing with all her friends. She can’t wait to get in the door when we arrive and is exhausted when we pick her up. The staff is super friendly and so kind to the animals. Fun holiday crafts the dogs make for their moms and dads is always fun as well as getting a report card each visit.

Coco, our Shar-Pei, loves going to the Pet Playhouse. The staff are wonderful and take great care of Coco. Dogs will be dogs and Coco plays hard. When any incident (scrapes) occur, I immediately receive a phone call. Coco always comes home with a 'report card' detailing her activities of the day. On special occasions, she comes home with gifts (Christmas ornament, bandanas). On her first day, she was given a gift bag. How awesome was that? I highly recommend the Pet Playhouse. Five Star treatment all the way!
