I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast at Pete’s Diner. The pancakes were perfectly fluffy, and the bacon had a good flavor. The staff was kind and attentive. I am glad I stopped here for a wholesome and tasty breakfast before starting my day of museum exploring.
Stopped n at Pete's Diner for a power breakfast before hitting the mall. The food was tasty and the prices reasonable. Service was very fast and friendly. This will be my goto breakfast spot when I return.
Loved this family owned and run restaurant. There were clearly regular customers. We were treated well and the food was quick and delicious. I highly recommend Pete’s.
One of the only diners open for breakfast on a Monday morning. Prices were very reasonable. The friendly cat roams the restaurant and even has his own seat reserved at the bar. Food came out very quickly and was tasty. Hot coffee. Good spot for breakfast near Capital Hill.
I I have been going to Pete's Diner now for the better part of 25 years. It is a fun, casual establishment offering breakfast and lunch 7 days a week... The staff is always friendly, fun, and food is always delicious. I recommend with five stars and thank you Pete's Diner for supporting your local law enforcement!
Just what we needed. No fuss BLT and coffee. Great service with a smile. Cute little place!
This was my favorite meal during our visit to DC, simply because the atmosphere was cozy & comfortable, the service was quick, & the food was good. No frills, but inexpensive & I just loved it! Great choice for a family, too.
This is a diner. If you are looking for a groundbreaking experience in culinary exploration, then this is not the place for you. Honestly that place will more than likely not be in a diner in America. But, if you are looking for the kind of place that has your coffee filled before you can even put the cup down on the table, the kind of place that has menu items listed but a letter and a number B2, the kind of place where the cook knows regulars. If that is what you are looking for, then this is the place. Definitely one of my favorite diners in America.
I wasn’t expecting a fancy brunch from here, but I was at least expecting decent food and service.. maybe something close to a Denny’s, given it’s a diner.. but nope. It was like a mcdonald’s big breakfast served on a plate, except the eggs are dry. Waitress was very rude, and looked very annoyed whenever we asked for something or even when she was just taking our order. The table is cluttered with different kinds of condiments including rice wine vinegar, old bay seasoning etc. Even the kitchen counter/bar is cluttered. Overall, terrible service and ambiance. Do not recommend.
Breakfast was awesome. Love this place
