Nothing was particularly seasoned or flavorful, but the waitress exhibited excellent customer service—I would return for that reason. The food alone is 3 stars, but the quick and attentive service bumps the rating to 4. This place reminded me of Waffle House with the bar style seating, but there are no table tops here.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
This was my 1st time visiting and I truly enjoyed it. The food was very delicious and the server was attentive to our needs. I love the relaxed environment and the friendly conversations. This is a very small place and we did have to wait for seats to become available. It was very busy during this visit. There's only one cook but you also get to see him prepare the food depending on where you're sitting. I would go back again and recommend anyone to try it out, but again be prepared to wait because this is a very small place.
My breakfast experience exceeded my expectations. Our meal were delicious. I had a Veggie Omelet and my guest had the French Toast...complements to the Chef! Kathy was polite, kept our beverages topped off and did not rush us out after settling the bill. Ray...your wonderful and welcoming hometown friendly Grille, is 5 star indeed! Below is midway...ate every morsel! Update: Yesterday June 8th- Customer Service at the Window was horrible. Katie the window Clerk was rude and in patient with customers. She needs to be replaced!
The only place you actually get a seasoned cheesesteak and as a person who currently lives in Philly, this says a lot. Awesome service and affordable prices. During the weekend, there is a $5 additional charge for sitting at the tabletop. Mind you tabletop sitting is their only sitting option. So if you don't mind take out on the weekend or paying an additional $5 with your meal this could be useful for people to know.
Have been in numerous times for BLTs, breakfast platters, salads, etc. Everything is uniformly fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Great coffee too! Staff is approachable and efficient. It is an excellent place.
Got the grilled chicken was good but not great...cooked to order but lacked in quilty cut..you know how you bit a sandwich and the whole cut comes off in one bite..this is what happened. I've had untouchable chicken cheese sub here so just figured a sandwich would be great also had other subs and there great, seasoned and fresh made to order so this is the only time I didn't like something here. Customer service is mediocre when you pick up at the window.
Absolutely love these old hole-in-the-wall vintage barstool counter grills. Petes the best, waitresses t-shirt says best breakfast in Baltimore. You walk in and you will see about 25 stools out of counter. You can watch the solo cook prepare all of your food. The waitresses are bustling up and down the counter providing fast good service. The place is cool and has Baltimore memorabilia on the walls along with other very old vintage small signs and posters. The waitresses are sweet and nice. Breakfast is great the prices are very reasonable better than most, over medium eggs were cooked perfectly homefries delicious seasoned sausage links really good orange juice. Love the whole Pete's grill experience, lots of fun. Parking is fairly easy, Park on side street in neighborhood no problem. Pete's grill is a cool place overall ambience and food, terrific
Ms.Debbie was the rudest and i mean rudest waitress i ever had, the customer service was soo poor. My food was cold and the cheese was not melted i asked her to melt my cheese she said she had no way of warming them, i asked couldnt she place the meat and cheese on the grill to melt it, she placed my food in the microwave. If that was not enough the homefries was extremely cold, i was concerned was it someone’s send back. The person i came with literally had one piece of bacon on her breakfast sandwich. I gave ms DEBBIE alot of chances and she was relentlessly rude, however every other person i had an encounter with was pleasant.. not to mention i was still going to be polite and provide a tip but she didnt even bring me my change she sent it back with another waitress. Debbie you gave horrible service this morning and i hope your day gets better so you dont continue to negatively impact people’s sunday with your low vibrations!
The food is always delicious and plenty. I've never had an order come out that was sub par which is why Pete's is the ideal breakfast spot. They close early afternoon, so it's important to get in early. The seats are almost always full so your in for a wait depending on the number in your party. They've also changed the front layout so that people can order from outside. That means there are even less seats inside, so be prepared to wait and did I say? be patient, they take who ever comes in first but if there's 2 seats and your party is 3/4, they may seat others before you as opposed to asking everyone to scoot down. On a Sunday, parking is free, but your likely to find better spaces in the parking lot across the street than on the building. The waitresses can be candid/curt, but it seems they're work to get the order right in this always busy stop. Overall, Pete's is a nice place for a good breakfast. I highly recommend it.
I ordered my breakfast today and when the waitress gave it to me the eggs were cooked not to my order. When I explained that to her she tried to convince me that it would be okay to eat them that way and started to debate with me about the food, to the point where I just refused my food. She did not ask me if I would like something else from the menu, so while the rest of my party ate their meal, I sat with just my coffee. Terrible customer service, I will not be returning as well as the people that accompanied me. Pete's Grille is not customer friendly at all.
