Peter Pan Bus Terminal

It was clean,quiet and the info person was helpful and polite. 2 stars for that. The Snack Bar closed at 4::00 PM. There are no vending machines if you need a snack. Loss of star for that. I was having a little problem bringing up my Epass as it was very windy and I was wearing a fluffy down coat and gloves. Anyone using a smartphone dressed like that knows. The bus driver was somewhat rude and impatient Loss of star for that. Also on my return,arriving in Prov.the bus driver did not open the luggage bay and I had to request he do so. Once again a somewhat rude driver.There was no.porter present to remove my rather large suitcase from the luggage bay. Loss of star for that.

On NYC to Prov return bus trip , there were several issues and very little response from customer care afterwards. Highly recommend Grey Hound or Amtrak instead. 1.) the bus driver was late arriving at the terminal with no communication. 2.) the bus driver got lost on the way back.(how do you get lost when it’s your job to drive NYC - PROV.) 3.) The bus arrived in PROV at about 1AM instead of 1045pm 4.) The driver was swerving on the highway almost striking other vehicles. He also stopped abruptly without due cause. 5.)Customer service didn’t return any inquiries into this incredibly unsatisfactory trip Basically Peter Pan doesn’t care once you waste your money with them. They have abysmal ticket policies and customer service skills . Highly recommend alternate companies.

So I had made a mistake in buying my ticket online and needed to reissue it. I visited the bus terminal to get it reissued in person the next day and learned two things: it would cost $20 (plus the difference in the ticket) to get reissued and that I could only do it on the day I wanted to go. So the next day I visit and ask to get it reissued and lo-and behold: the buses are sold out and I can't go on my time sensitive trip. $60 down the drain. Wonderful. But then I learn from my friend that you can call the services. Not wanting to go through such abject disappointment again and wanting to at least get some (if less) utility out of my money, I call to reschedule the ticket for the next day. Phoning customer service was fine. They were very prompt (only 7 minutes of wait time!) in reissuing my ticket and it cost half as much. In summary: don't talk to the people who work in the terminals, they'll rip you off and aren't helpful.

Makes traveling much more easier and comfortable than the train. Because an express bus makes only a few stops in between it makes a 3 hour trip seem much more quicker

Easy to get around in, clean and courteous. Bring or buy food to take on bus. Cheaper than train and more relaxing.
