Peterson Chiropractic Clinic

I want to begin with saying that Dr. Peterson has the most wonderful receptionist I have ever met. She was very warm and friendly, with twinkling eyes. Also, heads up, this review is focused on how comfortable I felt with Dr. Peterson. It has nothing to do with his ability to cure and heal ailments. I my auto insurance company referred me to Dr. Peterson for an "Independent Medical Exam". Dr. Peterson had a very serious, heavy energy for the entire 45 minute exam. The exam began with some questions in his dimly lit office. Dr. Peterson then passed me off to the receptionist, who brought me to the physical exam room. She kindly turned on the heater, after asking me to change into a opaque open back gown nipple clearly visible through fabric and some disposable shorts that were huge on me. This didn't feel much different from being naked. And this leads me to the first reason for a low rating: nobody give me a warning that I would have to undress. I have been to several different chiropractors and before this one, I have never had to remove more than my jacket. Now that I was nearly undressed, I felt even more uncomfortable by how rapidly he moved from one muscle area to the next. I felt so rushed that I often moved my body farther than I normally would have, resulting in a lot of pain. I noticed that my neck and shoulder muscles were spasming when I got to my car. The report that Dr. Pederson sent to my insurance said that though my neck and back strains are related to my accident whiplash, he believes that they "would have been resolved within eight weeks". But they are not!! So, clearly this eight week number is arbitrary and does not apply to all lifestyles and all chiropractic techniques. I do not doubt that he could have healed my whiplash in 8 weeks. But, given his stern "bedside manor", rushed disposition, and lack of full disclosure on what to expect, I would hope to find somebody else.

He is the most grumpy and unprofessional chiropractor who has treated me. thank god it was just an ebaluacion appointment it would be terrible to have him for my treatment
