This review is for the annual home Furnace/AC maintenance contract you can sign up for. I have found it to be incredibly valuable. We had 2 issues within the span of a few weeks completely unrelated to each other with our air conditioning at our house. We had the same technician Shakane come out both times, and he was incredibly helpful at diagnosing, explaining and fixing the issues. One of the issues was more obvious, but the other was more nuanced and complicated. I was pleasantly surprised when he was able to solve an issue that would normally have likely required also getting an electrician!

Kevin Murphy was simply amazing. Honest, trustworthy and genuinely a master at his craft, explaining everything that was being performed on 2 boilers. We are now looking to expand coverage to and AC and Propane with Petro as a result

I have been with Petro since the 1950's when they were Home Oil. The service they provide is excellent, and their pricing is competitive and I wouln't even consider another company.

I have a small house but I am spending about $1,000 every other week on oil. Petro comes on call but they never find the problem!

I got a good deal for the winter and the salespeople weren't pushy. Automatic deliveries so far have been uneventful, so no complaints!

Mr. Signor is consistently pleasant, knowledgeable, follows up, and responsive! Great customer service and provides service in a timely manner.

I got a petro contract this year. They guaranteed to me that I would get my boiler serviced within the month. I took the day off of work to wait for the technician and they called 5 minutes before the scheduled appointment to say they couldn't make it that day because they were short staffed. The next available date was 5 weeks away. Took that date and stayed home again, this time the guy showed up only to leave a note on my door saying I wasn't home when he showed up...I was sitting 15 feet away from the door with 2 dogs...no one heard him knock. I found the sign on my door and called within 20 minutes of the time posted on the paper...they said he was too far to come back now. Next available date is 2 months away now. I do not recommend. They are scam artists. Also, it takes 20 minutes to get anyone on the phone when you call and they charge the highest possible price for the oil on their auto delivery system. Somehow I seem to be going through oil two times faster than I did with my previous company when I would call them to fill up when needed. It really seems like they are just running the meter on the oil without filling up.

Sometimes the tech you get is in a rush and doesn't fix the problem, sometimes they are wonderful and very thorough. What I didn't appreciate was the upsell to a company to "clean my chimney" The actual Petro tech who came out to my house for just heater maintenance mentioned that my chimney looked like it was starting to crumble, I told him I already booked the chimney cleaning. Queue the chimney cleaners, they say they can't clean my chimney b/c it's small and I should get a new one. Then send an estimate for $7,200 and very nicely tell me how doing nothing is so dangerous. I feel set up. Time for second options.

I expect only the best customer service and care to my needs. Been that so far over many years. Ran out of oil twice. Once very fast response. I am always happy to be treated with respect and know that I am in good hands. A trust worthy organization. No trying to push services but just what I need. Grateful me. In these uncertain times we need co. that we can trust and respect. $$ bottom line. And this is what I enjoy. I am dealt with as person and long time consumer. Never lose this Petro.

The woman I spoke with on the phone was awesome. Her name was Donna, & she was very helpful in helping me sign up! They delivered my oil today & the guy came & cleaned my furnace! Excellent service! I was very pleased! I haven't used Petro in quite a few years & am happy to be back with them!! Thanks for the excellent service!!!
