Dr Petron has been my go to for the last several years. I’ve had various issues come up and he has always been able to come up with moderate solutions that have provided great relief. I really hope he never moves on because he has been my trusted doctor!! Andrea “ Sam” Johnson.
My wife Sara visited him last week after not having progress at Tosh center after 3 weeks. Dr Petron was absolutely great on wife's first visit. There were three other assistance helping him to take care of my wife. I would like to thank him myself for his wonderful service. She is going to physical therapy and recovering fast. Thank you David Petron.
Dr. Petron knows his stuff and was very warm and caring toward me and my condition. He was truthful about the possibility of the treatment working and didn't sugarcoat things. Highly recommend
I have seen Dr. Petron on and off over the last 25 years. I'm an active person, a tennis player, runner and have had varied issues as a result of sports play. He is a kind person and a brilliant diagnostician. He's figured out stuff others have struggled with and suggested courses of remediation that have worked. When my daughter swam competitively in high school, he helped her on many occasions too. I recommend him highly & without reservation. He is my go-to guy now as well for the injuries & twinges of an active older person.
l have seen many doctors and many specialists, but I've never been treated with as much visible contempt as I was by Dr. Petron. I've had a herniated disk in my back for a few months, and and after months of physical therapy, I finally got an MRI and was referred to Dr. Petron for additional treatment options. When he came in, it was obvious that he was not interested in anything I had to say. I explained that I had been going to physical therapy, and that I was on leave from work because sitting or standing for too long gives me unbearable pain. He asked, "Have you tried physical therapy?" after I'd mentioned several times that I had, affirming my suspicion that he wasn't listening to me. He then said, "Well, I looked at your MRI, and I see no reason why you can't go back to work." I replied, "Like I said...I'm not working because sitting or standing for that long gives me so much pain, and--" he cut me off, condecendingly asking: "What advice do you want from me then? What do you want to hear?" I said, taken aback, "I was referred here because I was told we could discuss additional treatment options..." "Sure, we can do an anti-inflammatory injection. Just sign this." "Um, can you tell me a little bit more about what it is and how it works?" "Yeah. It's an anti-inflammatory injection." He spoke to me impatiently, treating me like either I was too stupid to understand a more thorough explanation, or like he truly just did not care enough to waste his time giving me one. Every time I tried to give details about my injury or ask questions, he seemed genuinely irritated that I was wasting his time when he had already decided I was fine. I ended up scheduling an injection, but I was truly terrified to go through with it because he never bothered to give me any additional details! I considered backing out, but fortunately the day of the injection, a kind nurse explained everything: what exactly was in the injection, what to expect, and possible side effects. I'm very grateful for that guy's patience. During the injection, I didn't really talk to Dr. Petron; the procedure was pretty quick and painless. However, I cancelled my follow up because I'd prefer to see a doctor who at least pretends to listen and care when I speak. Being in a very vulnerable position, and after months of pain and unsuccessful treatments, my referral to Dr. Petron was something I was very hopeful about, and I really hoped I'd be able to discuss what I've been going through and figure out how to move forward. Being shut down and condescended to was the last thing I expected, especially from a professional who was being paid to help me. I am still shocked by the way I was treated. If you want someone who will listen to you and treat you with respect, look elsewhere. ***Every other person I encountered at this facility was very patient and kind to me.
Dr.PETRON 1999 threw 2000 Maybe should be a Sewer Extractor !. I saw this person about 1999 or 2000 . I was in a automobile rollover. My knee was swollen like three grapefruits after the rollover. I saw this person his diagnosis was bone on bone and arthritis., I kept telling him it was like this after the accident I could hardly walk . I saw him 3-4 times guessing. He recommended physical therapy and injections I believe it was I walked on it for more than a year & half. I was going to court since I was a passenger in the vehicle . I'm 6'6 we were in a new small Ford Ranger knees against the dash. As we Rolled my knees keep twisting inward into that dash. I was going to Court he only did a Xray he wrote the court with my current so called injuries was Nothing More than I was Psychosomatic and had bone on bone and Arthritis to the Judge he mailed that in.. I then went to see Doctor Charles Beck Jr early 2001 at TOsH . His diagnosis was Torn Meniscus torn MCL and Torn Cartilage.. I lost my case in court because of Petrons Arrogance/ Incompetence. After my Surgery on my knee Dr.Becks diagnosis was confirmed And with videotape of my procedure. Someone said to me, You ought to send that to Petron , Asking if that looks like I'm psychosomatic.. I had to pay my entire surgery and all do to I said it was a accident, and Petron said I was Crazy. There was Nothing Wrong!. Take your chance with this guy . Or go see a Rock you would be better Off.
Avoid this Doctor and the PA Bob who works for him. Bob was arrogant rude and condescending. My son who is a professional runner and Bronze medalist for team USA Long Distance Mountain Running was told he would have to repeat all the tests done in OR before any treatment. Waste of time and money do yourself a favor and find another office.
Unbelievable service from this man. Doesn’t care about his job nor the patient. This man doesn’t even have the decency to show up to appointments. I’ve had 2 appointments moved back now because, “Dr. Petron isn’t coming into the office today”. Like WOW, never heard of anything like it before. Don’t bother.
