Very different from what my idea of an art museum would be, the architectural exhibits were very unique, and I loved how child and family friendly the museum is, with programming referred to infants on up. Loved that both the women's and men's restrooms were marked with baby changing stations. Thought I would have to wait until my little one was older to enjoy places like an art museum, but it was a wonderful experience! Also was surprised how much doing a guided tour added, made me look and think more about many pieces. A very well designed and curated museum!

Great collection! The museum is a beautiful construction in and outside. Staff was polite. I really had a good and peaceful time there. Took my time to see all the paintings and art objects. I needed 2 days to see the whole thing. The ticket allows entrance for 2 days is a row, so it’s quite nice.

The Philadelphia Museum of Art is outstanding, it is on par with the finest museums in the United States and the world. The collection can easily be on the same level as the Metropolitan Museum in New York and some of the best museums in Europe. The collections include an incredible array of Works including impressionist, Modern Art, Greek, Roman, Asian, photography and in an absolutely outstanding beautiful building. Truly historic buildings and easy to Travel by car or public transportation. Plenty of parking. The gift shops are superb!. Wonderful staff, making sure that guests are happy and enjoy their visit. Live music every Friday evening for no additional cost at their Art After 5 program. They also serve drinks and food while you are listening to the music on the grand steps, for dance as well, inside the museum. The Philadelphia Museum us worth visiting again and again, and right down the road from other museums on Benjamin Franklin Parkway, maybe less than 10 minutes from other attractions within Center City Philadelphia as well. This museum is not to be missed. We visit from New York City about 6 times a year, it is that great.

The building alone is speechless. The museum is a must see for anyone who appreciates true art or architecture. I highly recommend visiting here. It's worth your money--you have a two-day pass with two additional sites close by. You also could spend several hours here if you really dug into the history of the art. **Additionally, try parking on the street following up to the front of the building, we paid $3.50 for 3 hours. Whereas the front of the building was $15. If you have a student ID, it cuts the price by $6.

This museum is one of the highest in quality that I have visited in the last few years. The exhibits are updated frequently and the facility is stunning. When I went I saw many original paintings that were stunning. The price is not very cheap but if you appreciate art then you will definitely enjoy your time here.
