Philadelphia Parking Authority

They tell you that you cannot park the car in that area and they park the car and if you do so in a few minutes they give you a fine sincerely this organization is corrupt because you dispute the fines and you do not win

On 9/16/19, Monday night, I witnessed the Phila Parking Authority parked illegally blocking a man in a wheelchair from getting up onto the sidewalk. How are they enforcing the laws when they themselves do not follow them?

PPA is horrible. Their appeal team is worst. Inspector did not provide a ticket and asked us to leave but still charged me and sent ticket by mail. Appeal would not listen as they just wanted the money.

The PPA deserves no stars, and does nothing for those who live here from issues with residential parking and ticketing. You’ll be lucky if you get someone to pick up a phone or answer an email. I’m baffled to how they still exist, and the only positive that I can think of is that they are employing people during these difficult times.

The worst. I got a ticket in February and it was $36. However I paid the meter and had proof that the meter worked. I disputed it many times and now it’s $101. What the hell. I don’t understand and they did not send me any emails about the increase
