Phillips Floors

The sales folks at Phillips are super attentive and knowledgeable. Very different from your big box stores. I took my time choosing colors for both vinyl and carpet. I didn't feel rushed when making my decisions and got to take a bunch of samples home to really see how it looks. I ended up with Mannington vinyl and a cloth backed plush carpet for the bedrooms. The installer was awesome as well. He was quick and cleaned up after himself each day, and communicated well with me when he would be back. I've attached some before and after photos of our floors. We couldn't be happier. I plan on going back when we redo our bathrooms as well.

I would love to be able to give more stars on this review but unfortunately the customer service, or lack there of leaves me no choice but to only give two stars. The quality of our newly installed oak hardwood floors in our hallway is definitely five stars. However, the customer service I would give zero stars if possible. We had a salesman come out and give us a quote to remove the carpet in our hallway and our stairs and replace it with oak hardwood. We also wanted a quote to a wand down and refinish our existing oak hardwood in the lower level of our home. After weeks of not hearing back and reaching out by email and phone multiple times to our salesman I finally called the office. The office staff was extremely rude but offered to send out a different salesman to work with me. The new salesman that we work with did a fantastic job and we really enjoyed working with him throughout the process. All of the people that we met that came into our home to install, sand, and finish the floors throughout the four days that they were there were all very nice. We ran into a couple of issues along the way and when I called the office staff to have them resolved, again they were extremely rude. At no point did anyone ever apologize to me and instead made up multiple excuses and tried to blame me for the issues. As the wife of someone who runs a construction company I know how important the office staff and call-center are. The woman that I spoke to on multiple different occasions is not a good representative for the company and has left a very bad taste in my mouth to the point that I’m not sure I will be working with this company again despite how happy we were with everything else. I can’t chance another problem arising in the future and her being the one that would have to resolve it.

Think twice about buying your flooring here! We had them replace our carpet in almost all of our new house except where there was wood. They quoted us $14k but would never break out the details of square footage and how much was padding. We’re waiting for those details which never came. Skirts the edge of consumer fraud. How would any customer know if they’re being treated fairly or not? We ended up not replacing the padding and it was returned so when we asked for a refund of the padding costs we kept getting lied to. They had excuses after excuses then we were told several times “the check was in the mail” - never came. I called and talked to Tina in Billing and she hung the phone up on me because I didn’t like all her excuses. Nice customer service! The installers also did alot of damage to my base boards! Do use them! Sad - I tried to use a small town business but apparently it was a bad idea! Still never got refund or breakout of our $14k.

Phillips Flooring provided excellent, professional service and beautiful solid hardwood flooring from start to finish. Jeremy Donahue was very thorough in explaining our wood floor options as well as carpet for our home. The process of sanding, refinishing and adding matching wood flooring to our great room was exactly what we were told to expect. There was also very little dust afterwards. I have referred Phillips to friends and relatives and will definitely have Phillips Flooring complete our other flooring projects.

Let me start out by saying the floor looks really good. We got off to a very poor start, but they finished strong and we are happy with the floors. What we are NOT happy about is their customer service. We had them remove two rooms of carpet and replace with hardwood to match the remainder of the main floor. While installing the new wood, they hit a gas line and caused a gas leak. After a visit from Mid American to turn the gas off to that line I called them and was told they would cover the repair. Once the floor was finished and the gas line repaired, I sent them the bill for the repair and they refuse to pay. MULTIPLE different excuses later they still refused to pay for the repair, even though their installer hit the pipe. We had a bid out with them to carpet the entire second floor. We will NOT be using them. Customer service was rude and has refused to listen to our concerns. Stay away from these people. There are a lot of other good flooring places in town, their customer service was awful.

Awesome job! Employees were all professional yet funny and friendly. Laid out our new flooring in only 4 days! Highly recommend and yes we will use them again!

Our new and resurfaced Phillips floors look absolutely amazing! Their experienced team refinished an over twenty years old hickory kitchen floor, then transitioned boards into a new hickory floor for our living room and hallways. Everything matches, the whole floor looks like one new, gorgeous hardwood floor. Stop by the Phillips store to see pictures. Also, had new tile and carpets installed too. They look great! Someone told me about Phillips Floors in 2013. They said “the best people for wood floors is Phillips Floors.” After working with Phillips Floors on three different wood floor projects and two carpet jobs, I can wholly agree with this statement! Phillips installed beautiful finished hardwood floors in our last home and, most recently, in our current home. We sold our last home in one day because our floors set the home apart in the market. Our new home’s floors also look amazing! Every single person at Phillips I dealt with was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and focused on our satisfaction. In fact, Jeremy, Steve, Mike, Gail and Jason ALL went the extra mile for us to make sure we loved our floors. And we do! The customer service alone makes Phillips the best choice in the metro, but the workmanship is also impeccable. Go with Phillips for your floors! You won’t be disappointed!!

We had a super experience with Phillips' Floors. Their customer service was exceptional. They worked with us through pricing of materials of LVP that fit within our budget, and even did house calls to deliver and walk through product. We are always happy to support local when we can, and we are very happy we did this time around!

Our sales rep Jeremy Donahue and our LVP Installers were very professional and personable. We are very pleased with our new floor. They planned 2 days for installation and had in completed in 5 1/2 hours.
