What was not to like!? The staff was great, the food and drinks were so tasty and fresh, and the ambiance was beautiful! Highly recommend this place! I ordered the chicken pho, chicken spring rolls, limeade, and pine/leechy tea! Thumbs up!
Fresh ingredients perfectly prepared in Shrimp Spring Rolls and Round Steak Pho. I dined at the bar. Service was fine but the granite bar top was greasy and the silverware. I asked for plastic ware and disposable chop sticks used for take-out. Price point in my opinion is very reasonable.
When you feeling a little sluggish or run down and need a soothing pick me up, stop in and get a bowl of traditional Vietnamese pork Tieu! It's served with either tapioca glass noodles or egg noodles topped with leaf lettuce, scallions, chives, cilantro ,fried shallots, bean sprouts, basil, and jalapenos. Definitely order the spring rolls with the rice paper and peanut sauce! The service was friendly and quick! Love that Trader Joes is next door for a quick shopping trip and bite to eat!
Always a solid bowl of PHO here. Consistent, quality, fresh and a friendly staff. The lemongrass chili spice is a must! Spring rolls are great as well to get the noms started.
What happened? Did upper management change? Something happened, and it’s not good. Service was terrible. The Pho tasted different. -sat down, waited approx. 10minutes to get someone at our table. In that time we saw two tables get sat down, drink order/food order placed. Mind you this is after we hav long sat down. -finally a waiter came brought water and glasses and menus. Then left. -a different came and asked “so what can I get you all to eat so I can put the order in.” we dismissed the tone, left it for open interpretation. -ordered crab Rangoon. The guy that brought the water brought the crab Rangoon and stated “oh by the way, we are out of sweet and sour sauce because restaurant depot didn’t have any.” Didn’t bother to offer any other alternative, just left. -a third person came and dropped off the pho. Went back and grabbed the sprouts/lime/basil/cilantro -the food. The rangoons were flavorless. I never thought that would be possible. It was bland. Could taste the old oil, I guess that’s the season/flavoring. The pho was “ok”. Definitely not up to it’s standards of past various visits. Flavor was off and the noodles were cold in the middle of “noddle ball” so I let the broth warm it up a bit I guess, I don’t think that’s standard. -So after the pho was served that was the last interaction we had with the staff. They never came back and checked like other venues have. However the table behind us was checked on 2-3 times. The table behind my side at least once, but they had to get up and go to the bar for refills. Even the lady said to her guy “this section must be invisible” I chuckled. So….after this experience, for the money…..I will gladly take my money to the usual fast grab and go Chinese joint like Mei Zhen or Jade Garden. At least I know service will be fast and food will have flavor. Whoever is running this joint, is definitely running it into the ground. Very sad, it was a great thing when we found out that “Pho 79” was going to open at Hilltop years ago, and it was very good while it lasted. Not recommended. Take your hard earned money elsewhere.
Awesome indoor decorations. Pretty authentic food and no MSG in broth…most of restaurants do and I could tell when they use it. Price was reasonable and seems very busy. The service was slow but it’s because they were short of staff.
The pho dac biet and bun bo hue are delicious. The broth is very flavorful.
I love this place! Service is super quick and my fam and I are regulars at this place. My nephews enjoy eating here as well and they are pretty picky when it comes to pho! Great place to go all year round! Authentic Vietnamese food. Fresh spring rolls are great as well as the egg rolls. I enjoy their Taro boba as well :Food: 5/5
Regular Vietnamese pho place where you can eat traditional Vietnamese dishes. We found prices to be a little bit higher than expected considering that you are basically eating oversolded water with chunks of meat or seafood. Overall place was nice server was very nice but prices could be a bit lower.
I can’t believe the amount of times I’ve been to Trader Joe’s next door and didn’t realize this was here. We stopped in and ordered a few different dishes and each one was great egg rolls/bahn mi/pho !! Definitely would go here again.
