Pho Life

I had eat in this restaurant multiple times, based on the food I would give them a 5 stars, however their service is very poor, it is very poor since the first day it open. Lets talk about my most recent visit: I arrived at 7:30 pm with my friend, waited for 5 minutes to be seated, another 15 minutes before the waiter bring us the tea. I went up to grab the menus myself since I knew where there are. I ordered a bowl of pho and asked to remove the greens, and guess what, it comes with the greens. This is not the first time, it was like this the first time I visit. And yet, this is not my worst experience, I once ordered a avocado smoothie and no bubble, and guess what, you got it, the smoothie comes with bubble, so I asked the waiter, can he bring me another one with no bubble. This time he brought one with no bubble, but the smoothie is only half full, he removed the bubbles from the cup and give me whats left, I took the drink anyway, (Now I think about about it, I should pay half the price...). After all this I keep going back because I thought this is because of the waiters, they are a lot of young kids, maybe this is their first job or something, and the food is good to be honest, so I keep give them another try. But what happen to my uncle today is the reason why I am writing this review, he visit the restaurant with his friend, when he was 75% done the food, another friend just come in and sit with them and started a conversation. First the waiter come up and ask him if he need anything else and do he want the bill, my uncle responded no, and he is almost done, but every 5 minutes, they keep coming back and ask him the same question, eventually the owner of the restaurant come to ask the question and bring him the bill. It give my uncle a feeling that he is not welcome there, and get kick out of the restaurant. This would be the last time our family visit this place.

I spent some time being a server and working in the service industry so I'm really quite forgiving and understanding when I am out to eat. However, I was not at all pleased with my experience here. They seated me next to the doors and even though I asked to move I was not permitted to. The waiter told me the chicken in the Pho Ga was chicken breast but it looked and tasted like deli meat. A different server spilled my soup all over the table and then just left without cleaning it up. I had to ask for napkins to wipe up the mess and she just slammed then down on the table and walked away. The server did not visit my table the entire time I was eating to see how I was doing. I ordered a Thai Tea (no bubbles) and didn't drink any of it. When the server finally came to clear my plate, he was full of apologies about the bad experience. If he had checked in during my meal we may have been able to remedy the situation. The didn't even take the tea off my bill or offer to make anything right. I was disappointed and probably won't return.

Food was delicious but they had children running around screaming the whole time. Very unprofessional. We could not hear each other at the dinner table over the kids noise.

Have dined here often, always order the rare steak Pho and House Fried Rice. Last time I was in, the server never checked on my table after serving the food, so we had to hunt him down to get extra napkins and fish sauce for the rice. The young servers were more worried about joking around than customer service. My next order will be to go.
