Thoroughly satisfied my pho cravings. Wednesday night was kinda busy but we still got seated right away. There was definitely a lot of things going on but our server managed to get our order in and pho out in like 10 minutes. The broth was pretty well balanced, with the right amount of savory and sweetness to it. For $12 dollars that's a steal and I'd definitely come back here again. Food: 8/10 Service: 5/10 Vibes: 4/10 Value: 8/10
Came here at 8pm for takeout on Saturday night. The restaurant was busy, and the food was finally ready to be picked up at 8:25pm. The Canh Ga Chien, fried chicken wings, were good. I had the grilled pork shop rice plate with egg and salad. It tasted pretty good with the fish sauce. I like the portion size.
One of the Castro street’s landmarks. Food is consistently decent with reasonable price. Wait time is short. Service is just right. Our go-to pho places if craving for pho. We tried the sandwich this week. It’s also good with unbeatable price. Homemade cooking style of pho. Outside seatings are available.
I enjoy my pho broth on the savoury side and that's my personal preference! If you like your pho broth on the sweeter side, come here and try this place out! Friendly service and the food comes out very fast. Also, I like how this pho place is decently priced and the portions big. We got the large Bon Bo Hue and Tai Name Sach - it was good. we look forward to coming back and trying new items on the menu. Here's a couple of extra photos of the current menu!
Had a pho craving so stopped by this little Vietnamese restaurant. Food was decent, not the best I’ve had but fair for the prices. There’s plenty of indoor seating and 2-3 places to sit outside. We ordered the beef vermicelli and pho tai. The fish sauce was a bit too sweet in my opinion.
Ordered : Chicken Pho : 5/5 Veggie Pho : 5/5 Will Order Again : 5/5. Our favorite Pho place. We have been coming to this place for Pho since 2015, during that time I think it has gone through several management changes. The taste had dipped with the previous management, but now in 2022 the quality & taste has become better than ever.
Overall food and price are good. ordered raw beef pieces in large size, very much in size. oredered Tai tea, not so much tea taste. Service is on average, forgot to give me water.
Local Pho spot that won’t disappoint. The flavor is always consistent and even with the restaurant being busy you can expect to get your food in 15-20 min pick up or dining in. I highly recommend getting the chicken sandwich as the bread is soft and the flavor profile is amazing. Another of my go to orders consists of #38 egg noodles with chicken.
Popular Vietnamese restaurant in downtown area. Dinner takeout on a busy Sunday evening. The order was a little messed up - rice instead of noodles, chicken instead of pork - that kind of thing. Still, the people were friendly and the food was good. Good not great. The banh mi was better another time when they weren't slammed. So recommended. Try to go when they are not so busy.
I've been wanting to try out Pho To Chau for a while now, and now I'm kicking myself for not coming here sooner! Their pho is easily one of the best I've had in the peninsula so far. Their broth is very rich and flavorful. The noodles were fresh and chewy. Also the temperature was perfect! They currently have outdoor dining with excellent service, so definitely come stop by! Can't wait to come back here!
