Tried for the first time. The shrimp pad Thai was absolutely terrible. It smelt awful. As though the shrimp was rotten. Not to mention the mess of this picture. Almost like it was scraped off the ground. The order of crab Rangoon was dripping grease and seemed stale.
We're supposed to go to the other Vietnamese restaurant vut when we got there it was closed. So we decided to search for another one and found PHO Viet. I didn't expect that much. When we arrived, the it was not busy, there were just two tables occupied. You have to pay as you order. We ordered combo Pho and pork bbq with egg. The servings are big and the taste didn't disappoint me. I was very satisfied with the Pho. The broth was really good. I'd definitely recommend it.
Ordered the spring rolls. Too much lettuce. Like...WAAAYYYY too much lettuce. Few shrimp3 and they are not cleaned shrimp. It is a shrimp cut down the middle. Not even an entire shrimp. Cucumber 1.5 slices. Not wrapped right falling apart. Side peanut sauce is awesome. I used to work at the best Vietnamese restaurant in town and this is sub par as far as spring rolls go. And it was $6 for 2 spring rolls. Save your money and go to another establishment if you are into spring rolls. Hope this doesn't disappoint the spring roll lover. I currently do not have any recommendations for spring rolls currently. I apologize. Still looking unfortunately.
The pho and spring rolls were absolutely delicious! I've never had such fresh, crisp vegetables served like this. They obviously care about quality ingredients here. The space is nothing fancy but it's kept clean and tidy. The best part for me was seeing a real family run restaurant with such great food. I'm definitely making this my go-to for pho and spring rolls and I look forward to trying the rest! To the woman who helped me at the front, I'd like to tell you that you're doing great!
found a plastic toothpick in the soup noodle. The manager told me is from from the chopsticks it’s wood but He said he doesn’t know what is that. Lol
Small little hole-in-the-wall place, consistently good food. Have stopped here several times while in omaha, and the food is always pleasantly good in a way that is hard to explain. Very subtle southern style of seasoning/cooking that stands out via great taste and a smile on my face. Recommend this place for any Vietnamese dish.
On our way back to Minnesota, stop for some pho in Omaha, Nebraska! Was not disappointed in what we had order, Pho broth was yummy, sesame chicken wings was delicious and the egg rolls even though were small, it’s super crunchy! I would eat here again!
The Well Done Beef Pho was absolutely amazing. The broth was perfectly seasoned. The veggies were fresh and crisp. Hoisin and sriracha is the perfect combination of sweet and spicy. Best pho I’ve had in town!
Beef Pho was great. Bahn Mi special sandwich was delicious. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was friendly. I would come back here religiously.
Little hole in the wall: delicious. Friendly family place. Fast, hot, decent size for the price. I had mango crab raggons not too filled, but they were still good, the combo pho w fresh herbs, and bubble tea. Definitely coming back. PS. The kid running around the place: he's a kid. Let him be.
