Cozy outdoor neighborhood spot we enjoyed for drinks and a light dinner with family and new friends. Our group sampled 4 different chicken dishes: all were delicious and only a little spicy. It's outside, but does have a translucent covered roof that protected us from a light rain. We recommend that you go to the bar to order and pick up drinks vs ordering online. Their QRC code menu is long and you have to scroll through lots of drink options before any food choices show up. We are PHS members, but note that there's no member discount here. Vegetarian options: We picked this eatery because it offers vegan chicken and several vegetarian options. Our vegan friend confirmed that her dinner was delicious.
Really cool outdoor bar! It feels like you’re hanging out in a backyard with all of the plants and picnic style seating. The margarita was good and I was happy to see they had vegan “bar food” options on the menu.Food: 4/5
Super cute bar! Food was good vegan options and service was super quick. Kinda sucks water is $3 a bottle thoughFood: 4/5

Don’t miss this lovely outdoor tavern, it will transport you. + Super friendly staff + Amazing atmosphere + Surprisingly good hamburger bun ~ Acceptable prices ~ Chicken strips are unremarkable, but not bad
Beautiful respite from the city with an amazing selection of drinks and food. The service was quick, and the bartenders were all super nice. There's also a ton of seating area, so it's a great place to go with a group. Definitely go early if you want to snag seats though. The fresh watermelon drink was delicious and dangerous because you couldn't taste it at all.
At this point, the PHS garden on South Street is a legendary Philly hangout spot. It's a huge space with lots of differnt kinds of seating, great drinks and a killer vibe. The food is good enough for bar-type snacks but really the value here is just how cool and curated the space has become over its time on South Street.Food: 4/5
We found this hole in the wall garden place as we are walking to another restaurant. The staff Natalie was so kind and welcoming. We decided to step. The establishment is magnificent super clean and the vibes are great! If you’re looking for a great vibe to spend some time outside and not feel like you’re in the city, but still be in the city this is the place to go. Tons of shade great lights, great music. Also pet friendly. This is the coolest place I’ve been to in Philly. We will definitely be back! Vegetarian options: Vegan and vegetarian options Kid-friendliness: Great place for a family or a couple.
Good and nice vibe. But beware of weird ID policies at entry, which was very bad. Gathering with a bunch lot 50+ of internationals and lots of people couldn’t enter because they don’t accept national id but passport if not from the US. If you know anything, who the hell goes out for a good and long night out with their passport?? All great and the place was good but a considerable amount of people from our group eventually was excluded because of their policies. This is truly bad, and the reason for 1 star. The worst part of it? Some people could enter without passport and their national id… whatever I guess.
A little jewel in the midst of South Street. The cocktail garden is all outdoors, surrounded by plants and flowers. We had non-alcoholic drinks mango lemonade, strawberry lemonade, and peach lemonade and Gingerbeer and all were great. I was emotionally stalking the lovely lavender colored mojito which looked so mesmerizing but didn't partake. The fries were also very good- wavy and thick cut. The place was pretty crowded for a weekday so weekends are probably packed. Plan ahead.
