When you fail to plan you plan to fail. Why have you only one laser machine for the cataract surgery . Because you didn't plan for possible failure of a machine i now have to wait a whole month for my 2nd eye surgery. This is more than just an inconvenience for me i am completely deaf and i completely depend on my eyes to function. Delaying my second surgery appointment for two weeks effectively blinded me for a month. If you can't afford back up machines for contingency or speedy repair maybe you shouldn't be running this business. AND their machine broke again for the second time. What kind of unprofessional work do you do to let someone know at the last minute 3 days before their surgery. How I'm going to have to wait 6 weeks between eyes. GET A BACK UP MACHINE!

I took my mother to get cataract surgery here. The wait was a bit long, but the staff were nice and treated her with respect. Dr. Sanchez did a great job on each of her eyes.

I recently had cataract surgery at PSCABQ. The facility was nice and the nursing staff was very profesional and compitent. I do have a suggestion regarding the check in staff. I had already received a phone call from the staff with pre-op instructions and my financial responsabilities. My deductable has been paid and my co-pay was zero dollars. On the morning of surgery the lady running the check in desk asked me for $1495.00. With great shock I told her "I don't have that kind of money. I already talked to financial and my insurance pays 100%." She looked in a notebook and said "How about $580.00." I got the feeling I was in a used car lot, negotiating a car deal. She then disapeared around the corner for a minute and returned to say "It's OK, everything is fine." I'm now begining to doubt the integrity of this place. I'm up early, nothing to eat or drink for 6 hours. A little nervous about them cutting my eye open, then getting hit with a $1500 bill that I didn't expect. Now I'm worried if they are going to do the right procedure on the correct eye. A medical facility has great responsability to get EVERYTHING right. Including financial details. The surgery went fine, no issues but the business office staff oversight still leaves a bad impression.

My wife had a modification to a forefoot amputation done at a hospital in February. Let me tell you that the staff and clinicians were outstanding in their care and concern for her comfort and safety today 4-25-19. Her doctor, Zachary Haas and his surgical team did an amazing job of correcting the original surgery by another doctor. Thank you ABQ Physicians Surgical Center!
