Quick service on a busy Sunday morning. Tasty bagel but coffee was meh. Better off getting your coffee at Starbucks then hitting this place up for a bagel. Average NYC prices.
I'm from Virginia but born in NY. I messaged my dad who obviously lived in NY for many years. What was the only thing he wanted? A bagel. So 4 different households with NY roots got bagels from my 2 trips here and they were *to die for*. Absolutely worth it. I should have gotten more. Huge, light, crispy on the outside...all the yes.
I am so disappointed by the people here. I always get my coffee and bagels from this place because it is in the neighborhood, but the way my husband was treated today was awful. I don’t have any trouble with the food but the cashier is very rude. And for the price they are charging, I don’t appreciate that. I was a recurring customer but after seeing how horrible the cashier acted today, I won’t be returning here again. If you want to be treated horribly and get charged abnormal prices, this is a good place for you. I would give 0 stars if I could, they lost all of my respect
A go to spot for bagels. They have a deal where if you get 6 untoasted bagels you can get one free which is very nice for families with multiple kids. The wait times to order is never longer than 10 minutes so you are usually in and out of the store swiftly. The staff there seem to never change which is good because I find them very hospitable.
Very quick service and good bagels. This would be a 4 star review if only the staff weren't so rude. Upon getting to the shop the line looked long, but it went really quick. It was a shame once we got to the front to be treated with a "what do you want?" Felt pretty u welcome from here. It saving grace is the speed you get your fresh food and the tastiness. They are really good Bagels!!!
As someone who comes here very often for breakfast, I can confidently say that there is a high quality of standard to their bagels and coffee that cannot be replicated anywhere else! They have the softest and most perfectly seasoned everything bagel you could ever imagine!!! There is a variety of cream cheese spreads to choose from, but my favorite go-to's all include scallions. The spread is light, but also still very tasteful, a great way to start you day. If you're in there for a bagel you might as well get yourself a freshly brewed coffee while you're at it. Its definitely better than the coffee your mother-in-law makes, trust me
If I could give this place zero stars I would. $18.00 dollars for a ham sandwich on a bagel with a bottle of water is lunacy. I’ve been in the restaurant business both as an owner, operator and investor and this is straight robbery. You are paying a premium so the owner can recoup his new build out cost. The staff isn’t pleasant whatsoever and feel like they are doing me a service for them being there. I’m all about supporting my local business during covid and usually tip 30-40% to wait staff, but pick a bagel needs to adjust pricing soon or else they’ll be out of business in no time. They just lost a customer out of me and clearly by the reviews they are going to lose more.
Egg and cheese on a bagel was over $15, close to $17. Did double take, cashier clarified that's indeed the price. No thanks.
If you try ordering on seamless they charge 25 cents for “toasted lightly” bagels and 50 cents for “toasted dark”! I found this to be absolutely egregious… Message to management: Stop trying to get every last cent out of your customers or they won’t return. Bagels taste fine, but I will not keep ordering with this pricing model.
I was fine paying for their overpriced bagels and drinks but after a disappointing experience with a rude cashier, I won’t be returning here.
