I wasn't sure what type of pizza place this was until I went in. The setup is build-your-own personal pizza, baked fresh. There's a few specialty pizzas, or you can make one to your liking. It most obviously competes with and similar to &pizza, except it has more food options with subs, salads, wings, and acai bowls. As far as pizza, &pizza has the upper hand with size and overall quality but Pidzza is cheaper and nothing to complain about.
Drove from Frederick MD to this location because of reviews. Everything seemed good, thought we were going to enjoy something special. We get there to be treated by the only employee sitting outside on the phone. No problem, we go ahead and try to engage her about the menu. No help there. Ordered 4 pides. Each is 9.09 and check comes to $40. That is a $1.46 overcharge. I didn't mind it, didn't address it and gave $3 tip on top of it. She wasn't even wearing her mask right... Thought it is what it is at this point. The food is edible but bland. Pictures have nothing to do with the food. Turkish pizza has absolutely nothing to do with this high school pizza level pie. Wasted my money and time. Thought we were maybe there on a bad time and started looking at the reviews again. The freaking owner is leaving himself five star reviews and his fake accounts or friends. This food is ok if you work nearby and need something to feed on but don't make the mistake to spend any energy to have it. Overall this is ok quality pizza, nothing to do with Turkish food, more like MOD pizza if that.
Little sandwich /pizza place in Ivy City. I work in the area and have eaten there a few times. I haven't had the pizza, but enjoyed several of the sandwiches. Basic menu overall. Beef, artichoke and cauliflower sandwiches are tasty. Sandwiches are heated in the oven, each constructed to order. Basic selection of chips and beverages. Nice place for a quick bite.
My partner and I are regulars here. After hitting up the gym we almost always make a pit stop at our favorite pizza joint. We find the toppings to be of higher quality than & Pizza and we also like the staff better. We have had terrible expierences with the & Pizza in Columbia Heights, and we are so happy to have this as our go-to place. The gluten-free crust is ON POINT! Thank you guys!
When I saw the amazing ingredients they had to got onto their Pizza's salads and calzones I was surprised at the quality and the time the put into their tops! Once that delious pizza came out the oven it tasted as good as it looked the roasted garlic was the hit! Great outdoor sitting and there's always beautiful people out and about.
So delicious! Highly recommend. Prefer this to &pizza. The ingredients are fresh and on point! The crust is amazing and they import the flour from Turkey! Great customer service too.
I love the unique pizza dough crust-Turkish pide, with nice toppings. If you are worldly and consider yourself a foodie, you should give it a try. This pizza represents us, D.C. professionals, who don't like to eat at big pizza chains and crave something exquisite and unique, even when it comes to pizza.
I came in late, around 10pm on Aug 2nd and had a great experience. The order taker guided me through the process of suggestions and selecting toppings. I took the pizza home and completely devoured it. It was great!
There was no one in the store but it still took 20 minutes for them to make my pizza. They weren't knowledgeable about the products at all! The ingredients looked stale and the man making my food didn't have on gloves smh. Just go to &pizza if you want good made to order pizza!
I love them! I work at the animal shelter up the street and I go here just about every day either for my lunch or for a quick snack before going home. The owner is amazing. I usually order the pide, I highly recommend
