This Pier 1 Imports on Staten Island sucks! The staff here are incompetent and work very slow. Prices are not that great and they are all final sales with no returns. We waiting on line to pay for over 30 minutes so we decided to leave. I would not recommend shopping here at al . Everything seems to be thrown all over the place with no rythm or reason. good luck!
Store going out of business. Some items on sale at low prices, others still expensive considering the store is liquidating. Beautiful glassware and dishes only 20% off, some items lower but not marked at reduced prices. So you will have to go to the cashier and take things over to the counter. I didn't feel like it.
I came here and picked out a set of really nice throw pillows. The cashier indicated that they were not on the system and could not be sold. Then, get this: the other worker proceeded to cut the pillows in half in front of me! ... Ridiculous. Hey Pier1: how about donating things you cant sell?
Signs all over the windows say that EVERYTHING is on sale, do we had to go in! Only to discover that this Staten Island Pier 1 Imports will be closing, so hurry in now. All sales are final, and supplies are limited. Will truly miss Pier 1 imports!
They have decent quality of plates and other kitchen equipment. There's a parking lot. Usually not crowded, prices are good for the quality. Not many employees on the floor. Place can be neater and cleaner.
The cashier Nick was extremely helpful and knew his stuff. I didn't know which rug to pick but Nick knew exactly which color was good when he saw a picture of my room. I would recommend this Pier 1 Imports to everyone!
I can’t believe how this kind of popular store has such a very rude staff. Every time that I try to buy something at this store located in Staten Island I end it just leaving everything i picked because the cashiers are either having a long coffee talk with somebody or one of them just leave and doesn’t come back to assist the costumers, OR even worst, they have the nerves to yell at the costumers to NOT cross the waiting line. They have yelled at me, once, thank God I understand that those cashiers are in their menopause so maybe that’s why they are moody. The other day I saw how they yelled to an elderly lady because she crossed the waiting line for a few inches; I couldn’t believe it, I said to myself “what is this, a boot camp?”. I thought that not even at the motor and vehicles department are that rude. The worst part is that this situation has been going on for couple years already and the managers or whoever is in charge of this store have not done anything about it. No wonder that store is always empty. HELLO!!! It’s time to change your staff. Give the opportunity to people that really need the job.
Very rude staff. How’s it feel when the customer’s more understanding and hospitable than the employees? It feels stupid. Will not be coming back.
Staff from this location is prime example of why this company is struggling and store closing. They are racist, rude, incompetent and slow. Good riddance
Who doesn't love Pier1?! My favorite home store, but can be pricey without a sale.
