Pier 62 Skatepark at Hudson River Park

This park offers a friendly and encouraging vibe. It's aerodynamic shape allows for multiple different ways to pick up speed throughout the park. There is a bowl about 13 feet (4m) deep that was pretty intimidating for most but child's play for others. There were many drop off points that proved easy for most however overall the park wasn't really made with beginners in mind. The park is also the perfect place for someone practicing dropping in to get used to the feeling of the shifting body weight and momentum with all of it's mini and moderate ramps and drop offs. As a whole this park is very fun and a guaranteed good time for almost anyone who goes.

I’m not a skater, but I shot a music video here and it was amazing just watching the skaters I had the best time of my life. Moment that I will never forget. Now I wish I knew how to skate

Fabulous skatepark with street and transition options. Beautiful 10 foot bowl. Best in NYC
