Extraordinary! I made my appointment online and they give you a lot of great information up front. I booked an appointment with Julie and got reminders and was emailed the disclaimer so I could do it in advance. When I got there the shop was clean, they were playing fun music not loud at all. Julie was incredibly kind, and they have so much beautiful jewelry to choose from. She helped me make an informed choice based on my preferences and comfort The actual experience was incredible. I had just gotten my nose pierced from somewhere else and wasn't happy with it. I had planned on getting the other side done and taking out the one I didn't like. Not only did the piercing hurt much less then the first one did, it was much more communicative and sterile. She talked me through the process, kept me up to date on what to expect, and it was over before I even realized. She gave me some great advice on keeping it clean and getting it to heal in the best way possible. I will absolutely be returning to Julie and can't wait to do more business with the shop. It's hard to convey how much a face piercing can make or break your self-esteem so I appreciate them taking it so seriously.Service: Nose piercing

I held off on reviewing because I wanted to make sure I wouldnt change my rating after getting my piercing and having it for a while. And I’m so happy to say that this piercing experience wink was awesome. I got my double helix last June. Getting the piercing itself was informative and a painful breeze last year. The inside is very clean, organized, and it made me feel welcome as opposed to some tattoo parlors/shops I’ve been in. Picking out jewelry was easy, and the shop had a wide variety of different jewelry on display, from tunnels and plugs, to different studs and interesting tops for threadless jewelry. I eagerly picked out what I wanted to be pierced with, paid, and waited to be pierced. I will admit, the pricing of the jewelry threw me for a loop because there was no price tags on any of the jewelry they had on display. Not being direct about how expensive the jewelry was before checking out, and getting that big price dropped on me is the only reason I can’t give my review a full 5 stars. I was under the impression that the jewelry was included in the price of the service, since $60 was the most I’ve ever paid for a piercing; but you can also argue I should’ve read the mountain of disclaimers before booking online. Ms. Christina was really helpful in informing me how the piercing was going to go. She sterilized the jewelry, called me in, we talked for a bit, asked if I had any questions, then proceeded. Two painful pinches and a small photo op later, I’m the new owner of a double helix! I was sent off with a booklet describing proper aftercare, and a short description of the piercing and jewery used. There were a few times where I had trouble with my piercing. Luckily it was just irritation bumps, but I took advantage of the free 15 minute checkups whenever I was in the area. Ms. Christina looked at the piercing, assessed if I had knocked it or otherwise irritated it, and told me of ways to ease the swelling and ways I could get around things like the dreaded mask yank or hair washing. A year and a whole bunch of saline solution later, and my double helix is pretty much healed. I’m so happy with the services provided here, and cheers to more piercings to come!

My actual nose piercing was done at another shop, BUT Oscar at this shop refitted my hoop nose ring, gave me a 18 gauge 9/32” seam 14k hoop, he was able to bend the hoop in order to give me the look and angle that I wanted. And it looks GREAT. Oscar was super knowledgeable and very patient with me. Great guy! The other employee, named Carter, who rang me up was super nice too. I’m finally happy with the way my nose hoop looks because Oscar got creative and bended the hoop when he installed it so that the hoop fit the angle of my piercing the way I wanted it to. I've had 2 piercings done here years apart. My main reasons for choosing Piercing Experience initially and deciding to come back are: problem-free healing if you follow after care instructions, no clamps used during piercing, and sterilizing everything before use. I also like that it is appointment only so it's always a nice, comfortable, quick experience. The 6-8 week appointment check-ups are helpful as well. My 9 year old had her ears pierced at this location about a week ago. She was nervous, but Christina did a great job at easing her nerves, distracting her a bit, and being as gently yet quick as possible. Christina was very professional and informative during the consultation and the piercing process. Having a consultation prior to the piercing was so helpful because my daughter was able to experience everything except for the actual piercing, and then knew what to expect. So that helped calm some anxiety. We will go back in for a follow up appt. so they can see how the healing process is coming along. After researching for a couple of weeks, I decided Piercing Experience was exactly where I needed to go to get my nose pierced. Covid protocol was fantastic. There are clear guidelines on their site of what to expect and do in preparation. Made my appointment required and I easily uploaded my proof of vax card since this is required for under mask piercings and filled out paperwork online. I arrived and parked behind the building, texted I was there. When my appointment time came, I was texted I could come inside. The studio is clean, inviting and calm. Julie greeted me and answered any questions I had and after I decided what jewelry I wanted, she prepped my jewelry. Julie was FANTASTIC. She talked me through what she was doing and she was so quick, I barely felt more than a pinch. I am so happy with my piercing and my experience that I am already planning on getting more done at Piercing Experience.Service: Nose piercing

Julie did my double nostril piercing and she was fantastic! I had a previous piercing and I didn’t care for the placement, so I let it close up. She took the time to mark and remark until I was satisfied, and even brought in placement jewelry so I could be sure. Ive never gone to another place in ATL- never will.
